Nobody counting Bailey as the third striker?

He often seems anonymous but I think he does some unseen work on the pitch and as long as he keeps popping up to score goals, we can forgive him!
-
If we don't get Matteo, we might all be in tiers!

Yeah on second thought, let's not have that. That's the type of thing that gets the English media to perk up. I prefer them being blissfully unaware of his technical brilliance.
Quite right. The minute the media realise how good he is, they will start selling him and informing us that he's way too good not to be playing for Man City.

Bournemouth are appalling. Why would anyone want to go there?

Unsurprisingly, he was nervy to start with as he struggled to get up to speed but I thought he was much better in the second half and nothing came down our left from Leeds. Had two shots at goal, one on target. He will be fine.

He would be the perfect player in our midfield, next to Bouba. Get him in!!
-
Top class player. If we can grab another couple like him, we will be a top 7 side.
-
I think he said that he needs to let players go before they come in. Not in those words, but inference.

Welcome Alex. Be a player we can rely on please.

Needs benching, really out of form, taking the wrong decisions and can't hit a barn door with a dart at the moment.
-
The problem is, we have the perfect forward if you combine the strengths of both forwards. Pace, energy and finishing if you combine them. Sadly, they don't seem able to play in the same team. We need to find that player who, as Emery stated, has the characteristics of a combined Ings/Watkins. Likely to cost a few quid mind.

Discuss what? Was he at fault for either of the goals?
-
Double post.

He cost us a fortune and fails to deliver far more than he does actually deliver. Lightweight, super-sub at best, and not so super.

Hilarious to see Southgate wriggle out a weird excuse for dropping Maguire forever aftr he signs for us!
He's probably on the phone to him today, begging him not to sign.

Chelsea have just signed Fofana, not sure they are getting Thuram too.
-
Cowans, McGrath, Platt, Yorke and Martinez.
Jack who? Nowhere near.

I hope that this is true as I thought the player was a very special talent and could do a lot better when he was at Watford. I hope he is an even better player now. Injured though?
-
Looks like the deal is on then. Ludwig goes back to his parent club and Digne is forced to up his game and compete.
-
Really poor that half.
-
Sarr is really quick, something we lack. I wouldn't be against him signing with the decent coaching staff we now have. Brilliant for high press and counter attacking.

I didn't want him in the first place. No great loss if he goes back.

4.5 years left on his deal. 23 years old.if he goes he goes for 50 mill plus .
But he aint going anywhere. If you sign for Villa you sign on our terms. We arent a showcase for a players skills to get another move.
We have the training ground the stadiium the academy and the owners already . Now just the simple task of making it happen on the pitch.
With the underlined being the thing we are struggling with the most. I agree though that everything seems to be in place now and we all hope for the window of all windows. One reminiscent of the time we got Carew and Young in the same window!

Back him in the transfer market and we will be grand.
