Will watch his progress from afar , 3 goals from the bench in the 2nd half of the season for wolves , returned to chelsea and swiftly loaned out to recently relegated fulham . He could have got himself a big permanent move in the summer had he stayed here and scored goals!
-
It could well be that we have simply been lied to by the owners yet again and they havent sorted FFP as they seem to suggest

Who else would you play at leftback?
Thats the whole point , the problem is a succession of seasons without anything being done about it

Maybe some of the blame for Hutton should be deflected to those who pick him every week and also play him out of position
-
big if but if the charity shield is considered an official match then he can't play for anyone else this season

would that not be a ruptured tendon?
-
Shin splints is just a collective term for lower leg pain , the fact they are waiting another 2 weeks for a scan could well point to a stress fracture

Smith got it wrong today for me , adomah , kodjia and bjarnason should have started. We dont seem to have a plan b when we simply cant outscore the opposition , he doesnt seem to react when we are struggling
-
Did Smith not say he was expecting him to be back at some point over Christmas?
-
Annoyed that smith took so long to react to the fact Kodjia had left elmo 2v1 and had given up the ghost long before he was hauled off . Big factor in the defeat today
-
he was woeful in the 2nd and should have been hauled off before he was , stopped even attempting to cover his full back , one of the reasons we struggled to defend on the right. He isnt a winger

Am i the only one who is concerned about the new owners? I would have hoped with the Bruce situation that they would have put us in a position to move quickly , the end of Bruce was inevitable weeks ago.

This post caught my eye.
His ambitions now will be to join the manager's `go to ' rota with Pulis etc. Best he will ever be able to do now.
Biggest job he ever had, Matty, he said so himself, and he failed miserably.
biggest job or not , he has had success before villa and i would happliy wager he will after
-
In reality we can probably no longer match Steve Bruce's ambitions , i think he will walk.
-
left the club confirmed

The team need us to get behind them for this , but no doubt the extra 14k that turned up for the Blues game will be missing in action again.

im sure all keepers have a recall clause due to the nature of the position they play

Thing is united can choose to recall him anyway whether he or we like it or not
Absolutely , but do you think he will sign for west brom?
-
Going there as cover? No way he goes 2nd choice to a team that will be in the championship next season
-
would go a long way to encouraging a manager to come here ... not . Cringe

changes have been enforced due to illness according to wm.

Question for the good Dr... did you buy villa with the true intentions o rebuild the club and make us great again as previously claimed or did you actually just buy the club with the intention to work your way in with council so you were at the forefront of redevelopment of the city ? Because that is the rumour I've been told at a recent football conference. Don't really believe it and I have faith he is a man of his word.. time will tell..
Be interesting though when the accounts are filed how much the dr has put in and how much has been parachute payments etc.
Exactly where i am , im not convinced by him
