Holy hell, didn't even know Cole was a Derby player. Still thought he was in the US. 

What a crazy match, I want Derby to win simply because of that scum Bamford and his endless diving. Fascinating match however. 

I know Monaco have issues, but Jesus they look like a below par pub team. Absolutely awful. Can't blame it all on Henry but it certainly makes me glad we didn't end up with him.

Sad news indeed, my old Uncle use to cut his hair back in the day and he use to talk all things Villa with him.

Looking back, for all the crap the fans gave him (justified or not) he didn't do bad at all running the club considering how things have been since he sold the club. Hope the fans show him ultimate respect. 

Reasonably happy about this, especially with Terry on-board (just having his presence in the dressing room will be huge, shame he at to go and retire... we need him in defence). I think a lot of the names being thrown around were maybe more exotic but we need to remember we're playing in the Championship, not exactly the Champions League. Anything as got to be an improvement over the way Bruce had the team playing so far this season. 

Don't know a damn thing about Faria, but if he's learnt a thing or two with Jose it will be interesting to see.

This managerial search scares me to be honest. Don't get me wrong I'm glad we finally got rid of Bruce but the options out there are very limited and not all that appealing. Sounds like Henry is more interested in Monaco (who can blame him) and I don't like the idea of giving John Terry the managers job due to his lack of experience, though I think he'd work well as a number two. Some folks saying Brendan Rogers but seem to forget that he's got a solid strong team in the Scottish Premier Division, which with the greatest respect might be one of the most boring and one sided leagues in the World. Dean Smith appeals to me, but I can't see Brentford letting him go nor Dean just abandoning Brentford given the work he's done there. I don't know a damn thing about the foreign managers to be fair. 

Hopefully the folks in charge know what they're doing. But if we end up with bloody David Moyles or Sam Allardyce I might just jump off a cliff.

Yep, I think time is running out for Bruce. Hopefully the new owners will do something about this, simply unacceptable. 

Useless, I don't like to be on the anti-Bruce bandwagon but you can understand fans frustrations with him.

Honestly some of the worst refereeing I've seen in a good long while, could have had at least two penalties and how that wasn't a red card is beyond me, shocking performance from the referee.

Positive news and credit to the new owners for showing some metal against clubs like Spurs. 

A possible release clause connected to a new deal for Jack would make sense, I don't think many fans would begrudge him a move away if we fail to get promoted this season. Just a shame to see the media with big stiffies for the London clubs again. 

Looks like Jordan Ayew is joining Crystal Palace, his track record as been awful so I bet Crystal Palace fans are a little worried.

Depends on the circumstances. If it was the case that Bryan signed a deal with Villa then the club have a legit reason to take action against Bryan I believe, however if nothing was signed and he simply changed his mind before signing, nothing can be done. It's a pretty crappy thing to do but it's happened before. Maybe we'll find out from Bruce at some point or it'll be kept quiet and legal action is taken.

Not sure I'd want to go against our new owners, imagine they have some pretty strong lawyers. 

Whilst we don't know the full story, I'm not sure I'd want someone like Bryan at Villa if he treats clubs like that. That said it's possible he never signed anything regarding Villa. 

Don't know a great deal about Bryan but I'm surprised Fulham are looking at championship defenders when surely they'd want someone proven. 

Reading into this I wouldn't jump to any conclusions just yet, we've seen how off the mark the media outlets have been this window. It's hard to know what's going on. 

3m + Josh Onomah for Jack Grealish? I know Spurs can't exactly splash the cash given the cost of the new stadium but that is an embarrassing offer. Nothing against Josh but I bet Villa barely even gave that offer a second of consideration if it proves true. 

Will wait till the window closes before getting excited but it's great to see new owners showing some metal. 

Levy can stick that £25 million pound offer where the sun don't shine. Honestly think it's a pretty poor offer and the club should at the very least be getting £30 million if not more. 

If/when Jack does move, I just hope he gets play-time. He's a fantastic player but I can totally see him joining Spurs and not getting appreciated, then he falls into some of his old bad habits again. Can't help but think there are other teams in the Premier League that would suit Jack better than Spurs. 

Would love to see Snoddy back, maybe with the option to make the move permanent. Was such a key player last season. Don't know a great deal about Abraham but there seems to be enough talk floating around that there's something to it.

Following Villa news on Twitter is enough to drive you insane, so much crap being thrown around it's hard to know what to believe. All I know is we've most likely signed a goalkeeper on loan (who the club haven't been bothered to announce yet for some reason) and that's it.
