Dont see what Fulham have done wrong

Depends on the circumstances. If it was the case that Bryan signed a deal with Villa then the club have a legit reason to take action against Bryan I believe, however if nothing was signed and he simply changed his mind before signing, nothing can be done. It's a pretty crappy thing to do but it's happened before. Maybe we'll find out from Bruce at some point or it'll be kept quiet and legal action is taken.

Not sure I'd want to go against our new owners, imagine they have some pretty strong lawyers.

  2. Whilst we don't know the full story, I'm not sure I'd want someone like Bryan at Villa if he treats clubs like that. That said it's possible he never signed anything regarding Villa.

Don't know a great deal about Bryan but I'm surprised Fulham are looking at championship defenders when surely they'd want someone proven.

  3. Reading into this I wouldn't jump to any conclusions just yet, we've seen how off the mark the media outlets have been this window. It's hard to know what's going on.

  4. 3m + Josh Onomah for Jack Grealish? I know Spurs can't exactly splash the cash given the cost of the new stadium but that is an embarrassing offer. Nothing against Josh but I bet Villa barely even gave that offer a second of consideration if it proves true.

Will wait till the window closes before getting excited but it's great to see new owners showing some metal.

  5. Levy can stick that £25 million pound offer where the sun don't shine. Honestly think it's a pretty poor offer and the club should at the very least be getting £30 million if not more.

If/when Jack does move, I just hope he gets play-time. He's a fantastic player but I can totally see him joining Spurs and not getting appreciated, then he falls into some of his old bad habits again. Can't help but think there are other teams in the Premier League that would suit Jack better than Spurs.

  6. Would love to see Snoddy back, maybe with the option to make the move permanent. Was such a key player last season. Don't know a great deal about Abraham but there seems to be enough talk floating around that there's something to it.

  7. Following Villa news on Twitter is enough to drive you insane, so much crap being thrown around it's hard to know what to believe. All I know is we've most likely signed a goalkeeper on loan (who the club haven't been bothered to announce yet for some reason) and that's it.

Don't really believe the Woods talk myself and I just had an heart attack seeing Charlie Adam trending, no thank you!

  8. Not sure if I believe that a transfer embargo as been in place, I just think we haven't been able to afford to bring any new faces in due to the awful financial situation the club was in. What's the usual PR tactic when under an embargo, I know in other leagues it's generally announced if one as been placed upon a team but I feel like a transfer embargo would have slipped out by now if we were really under one.

Don't know a great deal about Ben Woodburn so can't really comment, much rather we helped develop our youth than another clubs talent. Guess at least this explains why the club still haven't announce the new keeper.

  9. The fact that the new owners have stuck with Steve Bruce gives me more faith in them already. It's a sensible choice right now and sensible is what we need. Wes Edens and Nassef Sawiris seem like smart businessmen who aren't going to make rash decisions.

I'm happy now we can concentrate on the future and give Bruce the full support.

Id bet they were/are interested (where the smoke came from) but the figures dont tally with a club so close to ffp limits.

Yeah, especially considering neither the club or Henry himself ever denied the rumours. Still, we can finally move on now.

Hope we don't hear some idiotic 'Bruce out' chants, that's the last thing the team needs right now.

  11. So it sounds like Bruce is staying. Whatever your view on the matter, he deserves the support from the fans now and we can concentrate on looking forward. Will be interesting to hear what was discussed today.

Makes you wonder where all this Henry talk came from, wonder if it was all BS.

  12. Don't get me wrong, there were times last season where Bruce's tactics left me baffled but I can understand the concern with Henry. Given the situation the club finds itself in, I'm not convinced Henry is the right man to bring stability back. Yes there are new owners and I think the fans will support anyone who takes over but considering where we were a week or so ago, we need to settle things down.

That said, any new owners will want to bring in new faces. Wes Edens in particular seems like a super smart guy (after watching interviews with him for the Bucks) so I have faith they have an idea what they're doing with Henry.

  13. Really not sure the right decision is Henry. He seems like a massive risk given that the season is so close, the squad isn't anywhere near as strong as it as been and Henry doesn't have a great deal of managerial experience. If Henry, why not get JT to take over as manager. I know it's not a popular choice (and I know Henry is a big name) but I'd honestly stick with Bruce this season to help settle the ship. Some fans will get hyped I'm sure because it's Henry, but I don't think he's the best choice in this scenario.

  14. Just caught the news, absolutely shocked. Always enjoyed watching Samuel even if he never quite reached the potential he had on the pitch.

Thoughts with his family, hopefully the club and fans can show him the respect he deserves.
