Just stupid from Walker. What an awful game so far.
-
England look so flat. Not sure I entirely blame the players for that.

Confirmed! Welcome Matty.

Pretty happy about this one. Haven't watched him week in week out, but every time I caught a Forrest game he's impressed me.

It's actually a 20 year old Alan Wright playing against a team of under 8s.
Good to see that Wright as grown a bit.

Honestly the media have such a hard-on for Grealish to Man Utd. It's just kind of sad. You'd think with what's going on with Messi they'd have other things to focus on.
-
Rather take Watkins over Edouard.
-
La Liga will be desperate to keep Messi in the league, he's such a massive reason people tune into that league and it would be a huge blow to lose him. That said it's possibly move anyway once his contract is up anyway. Not even in today's game can I see a club pay 700 million euros when they can get him free at some point.
I'll be honest, the whole thing seemed like a political move to me from Messi to get changes to happen at Barca but reading more into it it seems like Messi wants to leave. As a pure football fan, I'd love to see him in the Premiership. -
40m for Edouard. Yeah no thanks. Scoring goals in the SPL is nothing in comparison to the Premiership. The Championship is a tougher league, rather go for Watkins.
-
Messi won't leave Barcelona. This is just a political move to get changes to happen at the club because clearly something is wrong there. That said, I find the whole reaction to this to be somewhat hilarious.
I would love to see Messi in the Premier League though. I just don't think it'll happen. -
I know a lot of folks think Southgate as some personal issue with Jack and I can't help but think they might be right. Baffling he hasn't been selected again. At this point Jack needs to keep his head focused on Villa until Southgate get's sacked (which will happen eventually) and see who replaces him.
The England setup is a utter joke in general though. -
Honestly waking up this morning to see #WeWantSaudi is kind of sad really. Toon fans seem desperate for anyone right now... as long as they have a bottomless wallet.

I guess the Mbappe deal wont happen now, but with bruce still there I guess he will be given a few quid to build his team to play attacking football
Elmohammady and Conor wickham incoming
I honestly thought they were all joking about that, but so many of them were being serious about signing Mbappe. Not sure what planet they were living on.

Considering how long this was dragging on I can't say I'm surprised they've pulled out.

The amount of crap journalism baffles me, how do these people get the job in the first place? It's pathetic. But this repeats every window.

Great game so far.

I imagine 80 million is the very minimum to even get Villa to the negotiation table. Sounds like United might be cooling their interest with Sancho their main interest, probably think they can get him for cheaper.
QuoteIt now looks unlikely United will try to sign Grealish in this transfer window, even though Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is a big admirer of the Aston Villa captain.
Premier League survival means the cost for any club wanting to buy Grealish from Villa has increased significantly.
-
Not gonna lie, pretty damn happy about this. His recruitment as been below average at the very best, at the cost of a lot of money. Was hoping something like this might happen over the break. Wait and see whose bought in to replace him. Still, good news in my opinion.

The club need to bring in known quality who can cut it in the premier league. A few to many of the new players bought in clearly haven't settled or worked out at this level. That's all I ask for.

Roy Keane is an sad little man, his life must be bloody miserable. It's like he's got 24/7 depression. Couldn't stand watching him as a player and can't stand to hear his so called "expert" opinions. Miserable git.

Great goal from Ayew. Dislike the diving from Swansea though. That red card rocked Brentford, shame to because it was an awful decision by the ref imo.
-
No way that was ever a red card. Wasn't even a yellow. Shocking decision by the referee who fell for the peer pressure. Terrible referee.
-
We NEED to be stronger next season, that's for damn sure.
-
I never want to go through that again. Jesus! That was hard. Delighted, but exhausted.

England have some decent players but I have zero faith in Southgate, he looks lost at times.
