Not been a great performance today, looked a little disconnected at times though that's to be expected... need time to gel. Richards as been a rock in defence, great work from him and Amavi as been lively. Guzan as had a bit of a nightmare, far from impressive today. 

But Richards as been outstanding in defence. Improvement needed, at times Bournemouth have been unlucky and played some good football. 

Is this deal done yet? Feels like its really dragging on now. Part of me wishes it'd sort itself out. 

Can't say I'd be to fussed if we got him or not. 

Interesting news to wake up to, on my birthday of all days. Still I'm never ever convinced of stuff I read in newspapers.

Excited by the idea of Rudy Gestede getting at the end of some of those crosses, could be dangerous. 

Going to take a good while to gel, fans need to be realistic. Still, loving what I see of Amavi. First time seeing him and that was a superb cross to Sinclair. 

Also learnt how to properly pronounce Amavi's name, it's pretty catchy. 

Think I'd be fine if it didn't happen, especially if it would mean Tim investing elsewhere.

Wonder if he'll be unveiled today?

Considering the leaked images recently I'd bet it'd be announced later today or maybe Villa/Ade feels there is better options elsewhere. Wait and see I guess, I wouldn't be against bringing in Ade if Sherwood can motivate him again. Superb quality player on his day, just doesn't have enough of those days. 

What a day, think I needs a rest!  Anyone know if the Ade deal is still on? A few whispers we're still after a few players in France to, Bordeaux players I believe.

I suspect we'll probably have an official confirmation of Veretout along with Rudy Gestede later today, probably why we haven't heard anything. Maybe even Ade if that's still on.

I actually think he could be one of the best signings we make as long as he gets the quality service he needs. Exciting buy.

I don't see us getting rid of Kozak, I just don't think that's in Sherwood's plans. Especially after a solid pre-season campaign for us. I don't necessarily think we need to get rid of anyone but either the Berbatov thing isn't happening or Gabby might be on his way. 

 

If this didn't at all involve Sherwood I'd be against this deal, but Adebayor was like a new player when Sherwood was in charge at Spurs so I'd be excited to see how this could turn out. A loan move is for the best to. 

Jesus, I can't stop staring at his facial hair. Its like one of the wonders of the world. Weirdly captivating. 

Looks like we'll have to learn a little French from now on, maybe learn a phrase or two from this fine gentleman. 

In all seriousness this as been one of the most interesting windows in many years, we've been stuck in the same routine for to long.
