Before last weeks 6-1 defeat I really thought Okore was a player we didn't need to look to replace, I was quite happy to have him playing along side one other. But that game worried me, he was all over the place. I've read he was carrying an injury and I'm hoping it really was just a one off bad game for him and he can now put it behind him. Hopefully he can show us that he doesn't need replacing at the weekend.

Personally I feel we should hold onto Gil and give him a chance in pre-season and some of the earlier games of the season. From what I saw of him he looked like he had some quality but Sherwood came in and didn't seem to have plans for him but I think even if we were to sell him we wouldn't get our money back so I do think he needs to be given a chance to prove his worth to the team before we look to ship him out. Hopefully he can really add something to the team and Sherwood was just giving him time to build himself up to premier league standard.
