  1. I honestly think if we ould of rode our luck till half time , who knows ? Maybe they would of got a little fustrated , but then maybe not . Just can't believe we did'nt turn up , thats what hurts most , because we're better than that , however good Arsenal were on the day .

  2. He was'nt getting alot of game time at Valencia , so I don't just think it's a clash of personalities , that said , whatever his shortcomings , I'm sure with a bit of t Tlc we can still have the pleasure of seeing those wonderful silky skills .

  3. Sherwood's not silly , he knows the potential Gil has , but the attitude has to match . Tim 's obviously seen something he's not happy with . Spare the rod , and all that shit .

  4. I know it's hard for the haters to swallow , but Mayweather is a genius , he 'll retire undefeated of thar I have no doubt whatsoever , you would struggle to hit him in a phone box . To see a fighter of manny's class be schooled in such a maner was astonishing . Imo he's the best defensive fighter ever .

  5. I thought there was an improvement, certainly in chances created. If you look at the other teams in the mix: Leicester, Burnley, QPR, Sunderland, Hull then we have a favourable run in and we have the capacity to improve.. I am not sure that the other teams do. We have gone on two shocking losing runs and yet we are still in the mix. Until we are mathematically relegated, I am going to try and remain positive.. All we have to do is finish 1 point better off than 3 of 4 or 5 other dire teams... The fat lady isn't singing... yet...

She's just having trouble finding the microphone .

  6. He absolutely needed to go in to the tackle with that force, otherwise he wouldn't have made it in time. Just excellent defensive play from an ever improving defender.

He needed to go in at that speed.

The swinging leg and use of his other leg afterwards is the excessive part.

Do you mean he shouldn't have gone with his legs first? Should have gone in with his whole body? Genuinely just asking.

    Do you ever stop ?

He did tackle with the inside part of his leg, studs down.

No, of course not. Where have you plucked that from?

What I mean is rather than make a normal tackle, he's swung his leg through and kicked through the player as hard as possible.

That's not necessary. He could have led with the leg like you would in a normal tackle.

A normal tackle doesn't involve booting the opponent at the same time. Ball or no ball.

  7. I might make myself unpopular here.

Whilst I loved that tackle from Ciaran on Sunday, I think he's extremely lucky he didn't get sent off.

Ball or no ball it's a horrendous challenge.

I'm glad he got away with it and I'm glad it was against Leicester. But its a bad tackle.[/quot

If they had a competion for tackle of the season ,then trust me , that tackle would win hands dowm , it was beautifully judged and performed with great technique , the expression on the boat of the other player was priceless
