I don't think think we are, it looks like a 3-4-2-1 to me:
Johnstone
Chester Terry Samba
Elmo Whelan Onomah Taylor
Hourihane Green
Davis
Swap Josh n Connor around and I think you have it, our very own Glenn Hoddle Xmas tree formation

On the plus side, imagine the Bristol gaffer and players right now. They weren't prepared for this
Baker left only weeks ago and hasn't played competitively with 6 of out starting line up, that's a bit scary
-
WHY IS SAMBA ONLY 3/1 TO SCORE ANYTIME!!!! JT it is at 12s instead for 'value'
-
Also Nathan Baker with a point to prove against Keinan. Whole plan could go up in smoke there as NB hates quick little players, aerial battles he is good at

Interesting to see who didn't make the bench - there's no place for O'Hare or DeLaet in the eighteen - I think both can be entitled to be disappointed.
Cue O'Hare being loaned with Snodders coming in as well

Davis starts.
Hope it doesn't catch them both out as he wouldn't risk SH last w/e with a knock.....

Well that is 3511 and frankly I find it a little strange!!!! If we going with 3 at the back surely we can play Hogan AND KD
-
Good point re Jack that @NurembergVillan Bruce is on record as pretty much building our season on his availability and improvement this season. I'm not against the signing per se just I think we do have a lot of similar midfielders now. I keep reading that his dead ball delivery is excellent, so we were told was that of both HL and CH last year.....
It's a good signing for where we are and as you say for 1 yr, though if we get up I'll put money on us signing him permanently.

OBE - YOU, me or the tea lady from BMH are better options than Gabby to lead anything, unless it's a conga out of VP.
Since half time v Hull he has been back to the half arsed money grabbing git we've seen for the last few years (or since he last tried as he needed a new contract)

This is the bit I don't like in this formation - for me, Hogan can only play when there's a secondary striker able to play deeper than he does and bring play up to the front end - O'Hare can do this and I think is the best natural partner for him in the squad - for me, Davis needs to play furthest forward to be effective and so does Hogan, I'm not sure they'd work as a pair - but Hogan in the Davis lone striker role definitely doesn't work - he can't hold the ball up so he ends up too isolated and the midfield don't get into the attacking third of the pitch. If Davis can't make it (and I really hope he does) then for me it's a choice between a Hogan-O'Hare partnership or Gabby trying to lead the line.
please delete the last 6 words and never use them ever again......
Away at Reading we set up to soak up pressure and break and until Scott got a knock you could say it was working as the best chance by half was Andre's backpass.
Scott would work well with KD OR O'hare I think as he is an intelligent player, Brentford played him with another striker and with support from midfield and he scored plenty. If he starts we need to stop playing those 30/40 yard chipped balls to his chest/head.

Whoa just looked at one thing that could worry me as we get further into the season
SJ/JS 24
AH 32 RDL 29
JT 36 JC 28
NT 28
MJ 33
GW 33
Elmo 29
CH 26 HL 26 of BB 29
Snods 29
Kodj 27
not exactly youthfull is it

One thing for sure is that the two victories in a week seems to have given us all a lot of options to think about:
Which RB to replace Hutton?
How bad is Keinan's knock and do we play him AND Hogan, does Scott deserve a starting place as he looked good until injured, opening door for KD
How to replace Onomah who with a head injury might not be risked (shouldn't be!) - Hourihane seems obvious choice
Elmo or Albert?
4231 or 442
Personally I think we will see RDL at RB, Scott in for KD and the others as per Norwich. Let's hope the confidence and momentum means we escape back up the M5 with 3 points

I just don't understand why we're bringing in an experienced international who can pick a pass, cross with either foot, deliver set pieces and score goals. Especially on loan.
Makes no sense FFS.
Because we have a history of taking that type of player and stopping them from scoring goals or being able to even find someone in the same coloured shirt..... Lansbury and Hourihane came last season with great records of assists and goals, that went well didn't it. I think a lot depends on how much onus we are putting on building for the future because this signing only holds those developing back further.

so long as draft isn't a Weds / Sat I'd be up for another game

I foresee a huge cock up on Tuesday when all STers cannot get in. Especially as the ticket office seems incapable of getting the simple things like tickets bought on 1st all the way up the M6 for tomorrow's match....
-
Monday night at that time is perfect for me. I cannot do Weds or Sat at all due to work if you do change it

3 rounds and all of them to McGregor, never expected to say that. The sheer size difference is one thing Floyd is struggling with
