I think PL knows more than he's letting on. If that jet is there because of us, then I imagine it's due diligence and the new owner taking a look around the club and grounds. If that is true, then PL would know, or he'd have some questions about the random American's looking around his office. So here's my guess.. He knows and further, he's met the new owners and they've offered him a 1 year contract so they don't have to rush a sale and finding a new manager and expecting the whole club to gel before pre-season. I'm not ITK.. I haven't got a clue. But that's my guess. Deal is still weeks out, but PL staying on.

Judging by the lack of any mention of PL since Friday by AVFC, my guess is something like "The club and Paul Lambert have parted ways. The first team will be overseen by Shay Given until a new manager is found."

Red Bull wouldn't want a team they can't change. It's all a big marketing campaign for them. They know they would face huge opposition to changing things in the premier league. Vincent Tan, The Hull Tigers, The Sports Direct Stadium, etc. It happens but it's not as easy as it is elsewhere.

Well if the original theory were correct and maybe he was going to try and get an exclusive on this (prehaps the twitter message was a last minute panic in desperation for a comment because others have wind of the story?), he's hardly going to say it's right before he's even wrote the story is he! We'll know soon enough. If it is true, and Matt now thinks people are on to it, he'll have no choice but to try and rush the exclusive. It's still probably some Sheikh that no one has heard of.
