    Vlaar is hit & miss really. Really inconsistent but when on form he's really outstanding. Hope the trio will make him consistent. Would be a good addition.

    Not sure where the connection comes from, but would like to see such a transfer go through. Certainly the entertainment value, which seems to count in the modern game. One of the people for a classic moment or two, ala Gabby when we won 2-1 away at the sty. Friend of mine is a PSG fan, says himself that the guy should move into a "bigger league" I'm a Dutch PSV fan and I have to admit that he's the most annoying, theatrical, arrogant and irritating player in the Eredivisie.

    I'd pretty much guarantee it is...27 years old, good engine, decent passer, & a natural holding midfielder. I'd be happy with this deal. I think Makoun will replace Petrov.

    I hope we get a Premier League class replacement actually. I think El-Ahmadi was good for Feijenoord but any level higher than the Eredivisie and I doub't he'd make it. He's not that physically strong and while his vision is spot on I think he needs too much time on the ball to make those forward passes. Would be pleased with this deal, assuming he's backup and not for the first team, but would also prefer Clasie for a couple million more. Makoun, Gardner and Clasie? Fighting for one position.. Doubt that'll happen.

    Just no more Feyenoord players please Villa should get Luciano Narsingh. Cracking right winger with also 1 year left on his contract. He is available for 5-6 million Euro's from Heerenveen. Him and Bent would be a sensational combination. I agree about Narsingh (hopefully not Ajax bound). Wouldn't resist snatching De Vrij or maybe Clasie from your team haha.

    I have a little Lambi crush. :oops: His accent is kinda hard to understand for a foreigner and I really needed to pay extra attention, but besides that I actually was hoping that one of the journo's would ask the Culverhouse/Kasra question.
