Alan Irvine's post match interview looks like an actors audition tape for a sequel to Goal!

It's a misleading video (un)fortunately, it landed behind him.
What, it clearly lands on his lip?

This is the moment of impact, as it bounces off his front teeth and onto his lower lip. Wonderful.

Wasn't impressed with N'Zogbia to be honest, poorest performance from our team today. I don't think I've see him beat a man since 2011.

We must be one of the baldest teams in premier league history.
Lol yeah

This is why we need Grealish on the pitch, to bring a bit of balance to the play follically.
Lambert continues to sell and release our hairiest players.
Good news about Vlaar then.

264 more posts since I last checked in. Take it we've signed him then?!
No, the deal is off. 264 posts suggesting various people out.
Sanchez out.

Whatever happens, I want to see Grealish for minimum half an hour.
£100.
What I want, and what I expect are two different things.

Dembele! Anyone else feel dead inside when we don't go in for a really good player like that?
He will be on astronomical wages

Absolutely right. If he let Pulis take charge of the transfers he would do a MON and screw everything up on over-paid, over-the-hill, journey men.
Parish must want Palace to make better use of the skilled players they already have which is possibly good news for Barry Bannan and Johnny Williams. Scandalous how they were frozen out under Pulis.
.
Did that coincide with them moving from rock bottom 21 weeks into the season to end up finishing 11th?

Totally agree with villan501, we are a joke in all aspects.
I'm wondering if he's referring to the club, or means that over-reacting fans are a joke in all aspects. One of these I agree with.

that figure is horrendous. halve it and it's pushing it.

For some perspective on the Bloomberg projections, here is last years...

Westwood and Delph would get murdered as two in midfield, need the support of KEA.
I fear this is starting to become a "Gerrard and Lampard can't play in the same team" type opinion. There's a lot of teams that play two not particularly big, strong central midfielders that do just fine. Supplementing with KEA who is actually the smallest of all of them is a strange solution...

He's almost hit that too well

How do people reckon the midfield will line up then.
To me it all points to the diamond seeing as we have hardly a wide player at the club now Albrighton and Tonev have been moved on.
Sanchez holding with Delph and Westwood pushed forward more or is there still one for one more? If Ki is still an option then I'd be a lot more confident for the season ahead once our decent strikers return as our midfield would look pretty competitive.
Sanchez
Westwood/KEA Delph
N'zogbia/Cole/,,,,,,,,Grealish?
Judging from pre season Richardson will probably be an option for the middle trio aswell.
I'd say that would be a good line-up, and can become a 5 man midfield with the central player going wide and one of Agbonlahor/Weimann/substitute moving to the other side.

Based on not being able to lose a match if the other team can't score, Blue Whale.

Well for one, Chelsea have a whole team of scouts and people that make decisions about player signings, so whether Benitez had any role in their signings is questionable anyway. Are you also suggesting that they would hire a caretaker manager for a year, and then take themselves out the player market completely until they had a permanent manager?
You're trying way to hard to make a point that wasn't needed to be made.

So, if for point of argument, he turned Chelsea down in January, that means he didn't turn anyone down to sign for us, which is what I've been saying all along.
With regards the Chelsea story-I take it with a pinch of salt anyway, like I do most press articles. This one in particular seems far fetched. Why would Benietez want to sign a kid in January when he was leaving himself in May?
Because it was part of his job?
-
still no highlights on AVTV? Joke of a service.
-
He's just spent a season against the cloggers in League 1, he doesn't seem the type that crawls into his shell when he meets a bit of physical.

Are Parma better than Man City then? After seeing the performances of our attacking midfielders in preseason, Jack would be in my starting 11. This game was a test for him against the highest class opposition he's faced and he was comfortable.
well yes, there was that 5 minute spell, but in a game that was over to such a level the City players were basically strolling around the pitch.

Are you serious? He took the ball on the turn, which is essentially Delph's party trick, then tried to skin the player in front of him, got tackled and the ball fell to Weimann. I've seen him run at players for Wigan and he was effective, but currently he is no better at moving the ball forward than any of our other players as it almost always results in him being tackled.
