Albion fans trying to justifying the seat throwing. So full of s***!
-
Might not be a great idea to get all our hopes up just yet.
Nice we're finally getting an AM though.
-
Don't even get a new manager, just play without one. We won most of our league titles that way anyway
-
Never in a million years. Chelsea and Manchester City can have their countless titles. I don't care if it takes us 10 years to win a domestic trophy because I know when we do the victory will be that much sweeter.

He was either our second or third top goalscorer last season and he was injured in the first half of the season I believe. I think he has a chance of being very good for us.

I think Westwood took the role recently when Vlaar and Gabby weren't playing and I think he did pretty well.
Guzan I think is a good shout, but I don't know many goalkeepers as captains.
-
I don't think it's that VP is quiet, it's just that it's fairly empty. If we can get back to pushing for Europe spots then maybe it would be higher.

Bacuna did well attacking as a RB last season, but right now Hutton is doing great in that position.
I think if he was a RM ahead of Hutton he could be dangerous.

Gotta love how fickle football fans are.
Why?
Not sure what the fans have done wrong.
All over the moon after the first 4 games, 10 points amazing stuff.
We lose the next 4 very tough games. People are back on the managers back
So the entire decision on him rests on just one away match against QPR.
4 great results, 4 bad results. This is the decider, this one game against QPR. Am I happy we are past the run of bad games with a result or am I out for the managers head on a spike.
It all comes down to that one game......
It's more down to the fact that since the Liverpool match we haven't even scored a goal and we're ranked 20th for things like shots on target and attempts at goal.
-
We're also ignoring the high possibility, imo, that if Lambert went he would simply be replaced by Roy Keane.
His obligations with Ireland might mean he wouldn't be able to.
-
Weren't Everton in a similar situation to Villa when Moyes first came in for them?
-
I know a few people aren't that fond of him but I think Sherwood would be a good choice.
-
Perhaps he's just not very good?
what do you base this on?
Presumably on the fact that he's not even making the bench.
He was on the bench yesterday
-
A lot of people on Twitter saying Lowton gesticulated ''**** off'' to Villa fans at FT.
Apparently he was talking to his wife in the away end telling her to leave.
-
It's been a while, Lowton was okay wasn't he?
Wasn't he?
Pretty good goal line clearance against Fulham last season.
Shame we lost anyway.

The reaction to Clark is very similar to the reaction to Baker against Liverpool.
Therefore we're going to win.
Can anyone translate this?
I dont think we will. get ready folks, if things start bad lambert's gunna get some stick. No grealish wha a joke. where is hutton as well? I don't think lambert rates okore, clark is awfulSurely we can beat that pile of shit.
just fyi, apparently Okore isn't match fit yet.

How's the fixtures work for this given it's happening while the premier league is one? Obviously we'll be away on the weekends but will we have a run of away games while the pitch recovers, does the stadium have to be handed over for a few weeks like when Uefa have finals?
I would guess this would be during the international break. Maybe we'll have away matches before and after it too.
-
We might be okay against QPR, our players might not score for us but theirs might.

Has he actually played for us yet?

Ah this is great news. His Dad is a top man, fair play. As much as I love England, football is about sport and I'd never let my son grow up not understanding his heritage. Hope Jack goes on to be a complete hero of mine.
His Dad's as Brummie as they come. Having grown up with a lot of Birmingham born mates with Irish grandparents I can understand why it's not a simple decision for him; I suspect just about all of them would choose Ireland though, and I suspect he will too. I'm happy with that in all honesty, it'll save him a lot of trouble in the long term.
Seeing how England fans moan so much about Delph despite him playing pretty well for England I could completely understand why Grealish would prefer Ireland.
-
true but it all depends on Villa situation, if we have at least 25 points and look comfortable then I think id be happy with that. I remember 2 seasons back Newcastle were flying high in January and then sold Cabaye and think only won twice after that
that was last season

I like your style Kingmam, but I feel like a trip to Goodison is more like;
Absolute silence, HANDBALL! General whinging noise. Handball! Villa score against the run of play. Absolute silence. More absolute silence. HANDBALL! Increased general whinging. Villa have a corner, but you can't see this. Absolute silence. Everton equalise! Silence. Whinging. More whinging. The noise of Scousers moaning is getting in your nerves now. More whinging. Silence. Everton take the lead. "Everton, Everton, Everton!". Villa equalise immediately. Absolute silence. Whinging. Handball! Game ends.
Everton have the worst support in the league by a mile.
We have drawn 8 of the last 10 up there, lost 1 and won 1, losing 4 in 20 years. I back a draw, especially as they're about as good as defending as he Iraqi Army.
Going to have to disagree. I'm giving man city the worst support award
-
Seal the deal with a goal against Everton please.

If we were to draw liverpool would they force Wembley to play You'll Never Walk Alone?
I think we should request some Sabbath to even it out
