Keane in. Jack to make ROI debut before Christmas.
Ireland need to cap Grealish quick to procure his services before someone else does.
Heard he might play for Belgium
Have we unearthed next season's Januzaj?
-
Honestly I'm not even sure if this is good or bad.
-
That's what we need. More defenders who aren't very good.
Clark and Baker probably won't be getting any playing time against Okore and Vlaar so why would we get another one?
-
Only 20, I was seven days old when we won the cup in 1994 and I can't remember 1996 either. I couldn't even get a ticket to the most recent final at wembley.
I know it's a bit of a weird one and I could probably think of better if I tried, but this season the first time Robinson got subbed on against Southampton at Villa park.
A lot of Villa fans stood up and applauded him, he hadn't played a minute of premier league football but we all knew his name and we all knew what potential he had. That moment stands out to me for some reason.

All Clark is when it comes to the defense is the lesser of two evils with Baker.
If Lambert plays a back 4 instead of 5 most of this season I think it's safe to say neither will be in the squad.
-
Id like to see him in a 5-3-2 (the 5 being 3 cb's and two wing backs) no idea who the LWB would be but think bacuna is the man for RWB ..... Ok defensively, good going forward, good delivery and good set piece
Potentially
Guzan
Okore Vlarr

Luna/tea ladyBerrtandFixed for you, as long as the signings work out.

Looks like it's going to be this one then.
Hope the away kit is white to resemble the european cup.
-
All the squad needs to do is stop giving up once they go a goal up. Maybe when you're two up you can sit back for a bit but when it's only one it's inevitable that the other team is going to score.
-
Say what you will about him, but I think he's had a pretty good first season.
I think he would be good as maybe a right winger in midfield.
Just want some more of these beauties.

We've seen this team preform well this season.
The problem is the team is inconsistent.
Somehow we pulled off miracles against the top 4 and those kept us up. I think it's more a matter of the minds of the players than the ability.
They probably have a different attitude against the top 4 than the rest of the teams and they need to keep that attitude up all the time.
-
If Villa have more than half of the possession then we won't win. Other teams rely on us messing up with the ball and taking a cheeky goal.
-
But with the lettering done properly (I'm semi busy here at the moment, so it was a quickie)
Really like this one. It's got a hint of Rotterdam about it but still looks modern.
-
Think we should start showing more love to the man in goal.
(To the tune of the flinstones)
Guzan, Bradley Guzan
He's the best keeper in history
From the U.S of A
He'll keep a clean sheet, wait and see.
-
I don't think there is a single Villa fan who has hope any more.
-
Can't see us staying....sorry... and I'm sober (at the moment).
Why would you want to be sober after today?
-
Tim Sherwood?

Honestly I'm just waiting for that tweet 'The club and Paul Lambert have parted ways #AVFC'

One more shot on target.

Lovely day watching this in the garden. Hopefully we can get a result.
Palace has got to be my favourite team in the prem that isn't Villa. The atmosphere at Selhurst is always incredible.
-
For me, I'm completely in agreement with Kwan. Lambert needs to pull something out of the hat here. I won't judge anything until the game is over - maybe it's a tactical masterstroke - but that team looks well set up to grind out a 0-0 draw in a boring and frustrating meat grinder. I'd be disappointed with that formation and teamsheet at the Etihad, but to be selecting it at Selhurst Park, against the team with the lowest number of goals scored at home, is mortifying. Where is a goal going to come from?
I'd struggle to see where a goal is coming from regardless of what formation we play.
From Grant Holt of course!

Well, no one's giving him a chance. Maybe he'll surprise us.
