? Their 1st goal when we were playing it out from the back ?
The 2nd goal caught in no man's land ?
The disallowed goal where he was yet again out of position causing all kinds of panic ?
His 'save' with his arm looked more like he was calling for offside than trying to save it, he was gash and spread panic in the defence, as he 95% of the time does.
Don’t rate him do you ? Managed to make up a case for your argument with piss poor evidence I’m afraid. No one else played a part in any of the goals then ?

Pau is so good on the ball
Lacks pace apparently

Due to his lack of pace generally exposed against a pacy attack.
I wouldn't play him in this game. Pair Konsa with Carlos. Much more pace!
He has many more positive attributes that counteract this alleged lack of pace.

I’m not looking for a reason why we won’t win. I just don’t think they’ll be 5-0 bad once Palmer is back. He’s scored 10 of their 17 goals over the last 5 PL games before today. He’s clearly a vital part of their team and it would be silly to think him returning wouldn’t have some positive effect for them.
Might there be a chance our manager has spotted that and do something about it ?

If Palmer is back, which he should be, they won’t be this bad.
Don’t forget Thiago Silva, between them they alone should be good enough to beat us.
Or,
these two play for a mid table team that lives on its past success and have been humped tonight by a team we beat last week. Why do Villa fans always look for reasons why we might not win rather than look for reasons why we might actually win ? We are 4th in the league on merit so should believe a win against Chelsea is a real possibility not guaranteed but a real possibility.

Our top 4 hopes are sailing off into the distance here.
Need to sharpen up big time in the second half.
Love the way Spurs become stronger even when they don’t play. They were shit last week and have tough games to come.

That will be the responsibility of the team to generate that noise. Has it has always been, even in the days of "Rattles".
Doesn’t have to be.

Amazing but what a dog shit performance
Does it matter now ? Could have played like at Arsenal won 1-0 still only get to the semis.

Cash has been shyte.
McGinn is turning in a League 2 performance.
And to top it off, we've got a massive bell end of a ref again.
Expecting and need a massive response 2nd half.
League two performance thank you Roy Keane

Hopefully Villa win in normal time as I don't think we have 5 penalty takers
Do you not think the manager has had them practicing penalties for weeks? He seems to plan for everything else so I expect he knows the order already.

49 goals conceded in 32 games, we only conceded 46 goals in the whole of last season. We're probably going to end up conceding close to 60 goals this season which is awful.
Teams that concede that amount of goals just don't fulfil their objectives.
Edit: I'm not saying 5th place is below our objectives, it's still a veery good season, but it feels disappointing given 4th was in our hands and we look to have blown it against bloody Brentford.
If it happens it’s a combination of results not just Brentford.

We're seeing the limits of Konsa as a right back in a game where we're attacking. He can't cross, doesn't overlap, and can't take a man on. It's pretty limiting.
He probably wouldn’t choose to play there.

How was he poor for the free kick ? He set up the wall to guard that part of the goal. He then has to trust those in the wall to do their job. They didn’t how can he be blamed for Zaniolo reacting like a small boy in his first game of football ?

We really are clinging onto this season. All the xG stats from recent games since Forest has us behind opponents. Even Luton
We'll get found out soon enough unless we improve our performances
Which just goes to show what a load of bollox statistics are. What a sad state when xG stats (whatever they are) are deemed more important than actual results.
We won, but stats say we shouldn’t have, we must be shit.
