All the pubs around Norwood junction are home fans only with security on the doors.

Always thought he was going to be a better wing back than traditional RB so I think some of his lack of game time may be due to us playing 4 at the back. We might go with a 3 again against Liverpool so I'd give him a run out at wing back personally to see whether he's worth keeping
I suspect the manager and his staff have already decided if he is worth keeping or not.

We beat them in 1979 too.
And if you were around no doubt you predicted a defeat.

Yeah cos let's just ignore the insane injury list we have and the fact we're fighting for a 4th place in the Premier League.

Embarrassing over the 2 legs, all the other games have been close and we get smashed by a bang average team. Yes the players are tired but you have to raise your game for these big games. Never looked like getting back into it tonight.
Sorry you are embarrassed. As you say “you have to raise your game for these big games “ and that’s exactly what that” bang average” team did. Again sorry if it chokes but they deserved to win because over the two legs they played better than we did . Fact.

Olsen would have saved that.

It's a tough ask let's be real. Emery is great, but 3 goals in 45min away from home in a high stakes match like this with a ref that seems a little dodgy?
How has the ref been dodgy?

I wish I had the confident some of you guys have, and I admire all of you that do have confidence. Past two games we’ve looked lacklustre, tired and completely out of steam. Dont see how we are winning this.
Wont be pissed if we don’t then.

We might need to beat this Palace side to guarantee CL. Season over call it a day was good fun while it lasted
Except for many on here it clearly wasn’t good fun (you only have to look at their often embarrassing comments before during and after games) unless we are winning regularly the players are shit, bottlers, lazy, not good enough the list goes on. The fact we are still 4th in the league and in a semi final of a European competition and have already qualified for another year in Europe next season ( admittedly not CL yet) appears to be unacceptable for some.
Not sure what they are going to do next season when we don’t do the league and Champions league double.- 3

I can’t wait for this season to be finished. Need a break from Villa
This is total bollox. We are fourth in the premier league and in a European semi final. Why not support Man City ?

Shit Olsens playing well who can we go after now ? Step forward Mr Diaby.

Olson not good enough to get injured. EMI would have done it better

Very true but it is a big ask.

Why would a newly promoted team risk their survival on signing young players who haven’t stood out at the level below?
Because he is better than they already have and perhaps they don’t have millions to spend on one player ?
-
Why not a newly promoted team or a lower level premier team? It gives a better picture of his premier league credentials.

I just really want this guy at a new club next season. I'm tired of seeing him flapping around sapping the confidence of our entire back line.
Oh dear let’s be sad for the back line who can be crap in their roll as defenders in the knowledge that fans will blame the player behind them

Olsen is, yes.
Doesn’t matter what he does for some ,, we could have lost by two more tonight without his saves but whatever he’s shit and nothing can change that.

So our defenders can only function with the world’s number one goalkeeper behind them ? Perhaps they need to step up a bit and take some responsibility for the defence of our goal.

Did he save any shots tonight? I remember a couple of offside saves, but thats it…
He still saved them . Were you somewhere else in the second minute and towards the end when he stopped certain goals ?

I reckon we'd concede 3 or more to an U8s team with that donkey in goal.
One of the worst GK performances I've ever seen.
Pathetic comment clearly looking for responses. Well done you got one. Clearly jumping on the ignorant bandwagon.

He did step up. Just not far enough

Thank **** there was no pen. Dougie would have missed it. This is a Gerrard performing midfield. Luiz and McGinn just cannot play together. Honestly get Chambers on put Diaby on the left , and mcginn on the right with Bailey up front.. totally free Mcginn up
.
If you are serious and not taking the piss sorry to burst your punditry bubble but Chambers isn’t on the f******g bench , I don’t think he’s even registered in the squad but you know best.

I think Sutton is a d***k but have to agree with him here why should they be any different to the fans ?
No sensible replies needed.
