The problem is that he has already been labelled as shit on here after two or three games. He could keep clean sheets for the rest of the season and get no credit from some on here, it would be down to the defence in front of him. If Bunn is as bad as people say and offers no real alternative why don't we just get behind him regardless of any mistakes he might make ? I doubt he goes onto the pitch trying to make them. Perhaps with a bit of confidence we might see the potential realised that Man Utd saw when they signed him.

I think I read somewhere that they won't both be allowed to play

£70m to be just as cack as we were last season
You forgot to mention we won and got 3 points.

How was this guy one of the best midfielders in the Champ? (I'm not really asking Farlz, just wondering)
He hasn't shown me anything, except that he's very timid and looks scared.
He has only been at the club 3 weeks and can't have been ruined in that time, he wasn't really that good just suited the team he played in. Buying players that look good in an environment they are used to does not guarantee success in a new team, no matter how big they think they are

Has a lot to prove in the next few matches, not really settled. Or is he really shit and not worth the hype ?
-
Any reason not to be ?
-
Lansbury, how did you manage that ? It wasn't even travelling that fast.

Another opinion, ok.

Which means ?Great supporter !!

How do all these relate to points won ?

Right so he's finished then, three games and he is shit. When will the booing start ?. Perhaps if supporters got behind players they would perform to a higher level more consistently ? Given their 'reputations' before signing have Hourihane or Lansbury lived up to their hype after three games or are they allowed more time because we really want to like them ?

He's 21 been playing football since he was young enough to stand and swing a leg, a large number of his years as footballer he has been part of a professional club structure of training and coaching he should be able to have a far greater influence on matches than he does in the second tier of English football. He may be skilful and tricky but can he influence a game on a regular basis? Sadly I don't think this is ever going to happen.

Oh good Villa park to become toxic again just like last season. Can it be that some 'fans' actually miss those days and are looking for a return ? I hope if this is true they are in a very small minority otherwise the future is very bleak indeed.

And we are a championship club at the moment.

Wow I wish I had written that, do you think the crowd (supporters) had an impact on his confidence levels ?
-
Can't argue with a star player, you win.

Steer was injured in November
-
Has a had a very ordinary start, do we get behind him and build his confidence therefore improve his performances or do we ruin him like Westwood ? Go team villa fan it's up to you and if you get bored with him there's always Thor, Lansbury, and of course our goalie, spoilt for choice. Enjoy.

You expect a transfer window to have an effect in a week, this is real life not a video game !! It takes time to build a team, unless the fans can see this progress will never happen.

Play offs are gone which is disappointing but what would happen if we were promoted? We now need to relax and watch a team develop for next season. Give Bruce time, a preseason and another transfer window should see the development of a squad we are all looking for. If things have not worked out by the end of October make another change but knee jerk changes now will only take us back to square one which clearly hasn't worked with our previous managerial changes. Patience is needed, if as some have said it's all too much then they should step back it will be best for them and the club, come back when we are winning and successful.

Isn't Steer injured ?

Most expensive signing, lets not select him until later in the season , pure genius. If Calsburg selected teams eh ?

There is no way Utd will have him as no 1 they will always buy whoever is flavour of the month when they need to. We should help build his confidence to benefit us in the short term and look at the long term later.
