Ooh, like this stat: Arsenal have lost away at both the other promoted clubs this season!
Wouldn’t be a stat if they played villa away before the other 2

always amazes me when watching non villa matches the time seems to fly..before you know it the 90 mins are gone
While watching villa its like each half is about 3 hours long, must be my analysing brain
It’s amazing isn’t it, more like torture I suppose though isn’t it. When I watch other teams I think wow there playing ok they will never concede but when I’m watching Villa I’m well aware we will concede at any giving moment.

Reality check guys. Man City and Arsenal have both lost 9 league games this season. Watford could get something out of the game quite easily, they are not bad at home hammering us and even beating the champions Liverpool. Arsenal are on a little high unfortunately after two cracking results lately including one against the aforementioned Man City. It’s going to be a season defining night but make sure you have plenty of tissues and alcohol to hand.

Yep correct - that is why villatalk is a football forum to share opinions
I agree entirely but it’s when opinions contradict each other I question people’s sanity.

I love our rose tinted glasses on here. People do realise it’s no forlorn conclusion Watford will get stuffed by city, they could even potentially take points. We will draw or beat Arsenal even though Watford have no chance against them on the last day. And then to top it off we will get a result away against West Ham even though everyone has been saying they have a far superior squad than ours And shouldn’t be in a relegation battle.

66 goals conceded, there is nothing misleading about the stats.
Yes Tyrone Mings has single handily conceded 66 goals

Just seen a stat.... TM has completed less tackles per 90 mins than any other CB with 5+ appearances, and by a distance..... Bournemouth must be laughing that we coughed up so much for him.
Doesn’t tackle much more blocks shot, headers and jockeys players away. Don’t listen to stats they can be misleading.....

The porn dwarfs and Brady will be offering bonuses to anyone who scores against us.
I dunno why we're so hated. We're like the elder statesman of English football. Won everything. Founded bastard league. Then you got ppl on the BBC comment page saying 'Well done West ham proper team relegate villa from wolves fan' with like 150 up votes lol
People don’t care about sending us down. Most teams unless rivals or local couldn’t care less, there’s 19 other teams to worry about also, that’s our problem we think we’re a big club and other clubs care about us, that’s us fans, players and everyone associated with us, that’s our mental block. And anyway most clubs can bank on us for an easy 6 points most seasons why would you want to lose that....

Ah, the Santa match. I remember it fondly. 2-0 at half time.
I’d take Santa with a broken leg over some of the players

We just need Santa to save us then
Samma you say

Never dull being a villa fan at least. Why we couldn’t play like we we are now at the beginning of the season we’d be a top 12 team easy.

Not with the GD. Unless we beat Arsenal obviously which I don't see happening
They are not the force of old. They are exactly the type of team that it is best to play this time of the season...

Well I’m 48 hours we will have a good idea what league we will be in next year...

Forgot all about him

To be honest I don’t see the dogs at him our defence has been much solid defensive unit since restart and he’s been a big part of that.

I think the curious case of Conor Hourihane is simply that he is on the level that he can perform against lower table PL teams, but not against the better teams. Everton and Arsenal are good chances for him to prove us wrong.
Probably a fair assessment. I’ve always said on here he’s good against certain teams the lower level or non physical teams but Smith always starts him in the wrong kind of games.

Can really see this going to the last day, even if we only pick up one more point from the next 2 games.
Not with our goal difference unfortunately

Well considering their better than us how do you see us beating 2 out of them 3.

Norwich beat Man City at home this year. Nothing is certain we just got keep trying. If we go down fighting I will be happy it was the not trying that bothered me.

Has got a lot of stick in the past. Under appreciated and valued imo, does everything well if not spectacular. Cool and experienced head we need at the moment, never seems flustered. They fact he has been here what 3 years and only has 80 pages I think underlines his consistency.

Big result today but at the end of the day we still need to win at Everton which is a big ask. Even Bournemouth might beat Leicester later on as there not in a great run of form. Lots of twists and turns and we’ve given ourselves a punchers chance.
