Or just keep Buendia and not spend anything further.

That would be the ideal scenario, but we are not sure how good of a player he will return.

Also, one more injury to either of the 3 and we are back to square 1.

For the 15m£ reported by the media, I would definitely buy him

    Maybe.

If we can get a Rogers for 8m, is zaniolo good value for 15m?

Spurs will beat Burnley, SU and Chelsea IMO. Think they'll get a draw against Newcatle. Puts them at 70 points

The thing about Spurs and Us is that it's impossible to predict. I wouldn't rule out us beating Arsenal and Liverpool and losing to Bournemouth.

But if I was a betting man, I would say it's advantage spurs.

He was spot on in everything he said.

But those comments should have been kept inside the dressing room.

You don't go public with that.

It can go two ways - we either wake up and take more control, or it causes more issues with confidence.

So we are yet to find out if he was right in saying it in public!

Lost 6-0 yesterday to Feyenoord. He didnt play but the famous Henderson dressing room leadership has been horrible experiment

The fact they made him captain is crazy.

Our recent form feels like how Arsenal stumbled at the end of last season.  Think it's just just growing pains and we'll be stronger for it next season - as Arsenal seem to have matured this season.

Will be more than happy with 5th place - hopefully it will come with UCL qualification.

To me it feels like we achieved the Spurs level over the last couple of years.

We are gonna win most, but every now and again we will draw against a Palace or a Wolves and this will be the difference between us and the very top.

Yet the brand of jacket he wears (moose knuckle) is typically near £1000 to buy (peanuts to him) but looks - like you say - top man-ish. Scott Parker's cardigans with the four hoops on the sleeve.....nice enough... but how much ?!??!

Managers should either go full suit or full tracksuit.

Imagine waking up before a big game with Spurs and thinking 'Honey, does this cap match my moccasins'?

Still top of the league and keeping the lead after this weekend’s results.

Man U and Brentford alone would be 5 points?

Man U loss (3 points) and Brentford draw (2 points). Unless the table considers we gained a point against Brentford as we were behind?

I think corruption in top level referees in this country is nonsense. It's something you hear banded about all the time, but it just doesn't make any sense.

Are they incompetent? Yes they can be. Are they biased? Absolutely

Are they corrupt? No **** way

Pretty much this. But for me the main blame goes on the system of arrogance and the power that the refereeing body has.

Maybe there are not enough refs? Surely there are some people within lower leagues who could take a PL game and grab it by the balls the way it should be handled?

    £150m.

I'd take a £115 if we had to sell, i.e. he wanted to move or we had FFP issues.

    But let's not sell him.

  11. It might very well be that the last few games have little meaning, other than overtaking spurs. That is the only game in town now, although could be a very much irrelevant one.

The club should get ready for Madrid coming to VP next year.

  12. Refs will be bad by the nature of their job. There is a mentality of 'holier than thou' and 'I know best' within the upper ranks.

Add 300k a week superstars and millions of people watching in the mix and it's a recipe for disaster.

I heard so many comments from refs saying that a yellow card is not a yellow in the first 15/20 mins of a game, just to make sure it's not a high tension game. I say bullshit to that.

It's a hard job, but a lack of humility in the decisions and letting things go (not being stricter) does not help.

I really like Marciniak (officiated last CL final and WC final). He is a Colina of our days. But just like others, he is a part of a system where games have to be refeed a certain way that the governing body wants them to be run. He said openly that UEFA and other national associations give different guidance depending on if it's a european game or a domestic game.

The whole system needs a big look in the mirror. We shouldn't even know who the refs are, but they are made into minor celebrities. Mike Dean is the perfect example of arrogance in the system.

The chances are that in a weeks time they'll be six points behind us with a game in hand - it's going to get squeaky.

Considering goal difference and the worst outcome you described above, it's pretty much 7 points.

And plop get a pen now which is THE best outcome.

I maintain what Rob Edwards has done at Luton is harder than what Guardiola has done at Man City.

    Sure, that is an opinion.

To anyone that says this is the case, why don't man city get rid of Guardiola, save absolute millions, and get Rob Edwards?

And in similar fashion, considering Man City control most games and don't face many attacks, is Rodri a fraud of a defensive midfielder?
