Suddenly the buy back clause doesn't seem like an issue .
Wijnaldum got relegated with newcastle and he starts regulary for liverpool
-
Remember when we all thought he should only be used for home games because he was a luxury player ?

Much better squad, and they can do the basics like pass to each other.
Is it a better squad ? Or is it the simple system of 11 men behind the ball same as benitez played, + Bruce is good at arranging set pieces remeber the goals we used to score from corners and free kicks under him?
-
Bust his gut to get into the box on every break away , the guy loves scoring goals

His goals vs Norwich were exactly the same
He doesn't seem the exuberant type
I don’t know about that , remember his celebration vs Everton?

yup, love me some TW:WH2.
ur fave LL?
Tyrion racks up a fair amount of kills, i enjoy a defensive set up with artillery large long line of spears and let them come at me the range of the high elves archers is great, cant get the hang of the lizard men although apperance wise they look real cool. Who’s your fave LL and faction?

Top 6 is achievable!
Agreed 15th this year and a leauge cup final would be a fantasitc achivement, more new faces in the summer and build on over the next 5 years

They might follow suit of the other clubs and bring in a former player as manager Ljunberg doesn't have the correct licence , the car crash that is Thierry Henry?

Jarrod Bowen is on fire, a must buy

I have observed him since even last season. If for whatever reason he doesn't go up for a corner you can usually guarantee he will at least once bend down and stretch out his legs or his groin.
It isn't a new thing and is probably something he forever is managing and weary of.
Yes noticed this to , the warm up pre the everton game he tweaked his groin obviously an on going problem

I don't think anyone would mind Wesley not being super prolific if he actually contributed a lot in other aspects of the game more(he doesn't, generally). And Firmino is allowed to not be super prolific because he has the likes of Salah and Mane to do that for him. Something tells me El Ghazi and Trezeguet won't have anywhere near thr goal returns for Salah and Mane.
Who in the bottom half of the table is ever going to get near their goal returns? If El Ghazi, Trezuget and Wesley can mange 20 goals between them ita decent for a team of our stature like I said erarlier Kodjia is the only other option but playing him would affect the shape of the team
-
I think we are to used to a prolific poacher here at Villa, Tammy last season, Kodjia’s first season , Bent, Yorke to name a few, its clear this system is to try and get goals from everywhere full back ,midfielders wingers are all involved , last season we were over reliant on Tammy for goals they literally came from nowhere else , you only have to look at Bobby Firminio he scores goals but he is hardly prolific and yet he is regarded one of the best players in the leauge , is Wes in the same bracket no but we are hardly going to fork out £120m for a CF are we, its a very hard position to fill ,goal scorers are expensive one who can do both are priceless can anybody think off top of their heads for a good CF who is available and within budget?

We’d be disjointed with Kodjia playing there though , if you look at the amount or players that bomb forward wes droping deep and holding up is essential is he doing a good enough job at it no but Kodjia would offer none of this

I think we have a better midfield , its more of a mental battle I think hops the players treat it as any other game , just like the newcastle game , dont show them any respect and dont allow them to play simply because they ar Man utd

Good at everything , we need a similar backup though , every time when he goes down Im worried

I agree, but that could also be that for the first time this season we crossed the ball directly rather than playing it short.
Konsa was very good today, really impressed me. Think the place is his to lose now.
I said it before that I thought he was down the pecking order at the moment, but has the highest ceiling potentially of all our defenders. He’s now moving up that pecking order and has Terry to learn off. Could be a future England captain.
Did he socre in a headed goal in one of the cup matches?

This. Exactly this. Which is also why he can play in Hourihane's spot if needed. The composure he gives on the ball, means Jack can stay further up the pitch and it's so essential for our attacking play.
Yes, nakmba is better at defending but lacks Luiz ‘s ability to start attack , Surpised Nakamba was not brought on at 80th min mark to see the game to see the game out though
-
Having him in the team stops jack from collecting the ball so deep , he brings the ball out of defence well , and weighes his passes as good as Jack does really good young player
-
Also look a threat on set pices

Gareth Southgate you are a muppet. Imagine damage England could do with Chilwell or Alexander Arnold supporting Jack. Kane would have a field day
Bet top 4 clubs ar bribing Southgate to leave him out, he has to play for a top 4 club to get a call up scenario! Wish he would have chose ireland

Goal would have really helped his confidence
