I really feel he needs to communicate a bit more ambiguously with extensive emojis.

Never done heroin, but have came very close several times. Know a few people who are dead because of it, or are ruining their lives because of it. Never interested me being a smackhead, but must admit, I find the use of the drug from the late 1800s- early 1900s interesting in a weird way . The old Sherlock Holmes image, and the wealthy upper classes that used to get zonked out on the stuff. Reality is, it doesn't matter who you are, it will get you, and ruin your life. Not sure how long injecting has been about , but I think back in the old days snorting the drug was popular. Also liquid form. Then you had the opium dens where people smoked it.
I did it once twenty years ago and it was so indescribably awesome that I've made sure to stay away from it for the rest of my life... or at least until I'm so old it won't matter!

Isn't he a manager in India or something?
How would he be making that trek so often?
Yeah, won the league with Chennaiyin last season. Pretty short seasons over there, I can't imagine he was commuting!

I don't even think that was a league game, it's a friendly and the team they're playing aren't even a proper team

You were wrong. Martin O’Neill was the last time. This will be infinitesimally better.
Eh? So this is going to be an almost immeasurably tiny bit better than MON's tenure? Like same points, one less goal conceded or something?

Not quite sure if I'll remember him fondly or not to be honest... but I'll definitely remember him! Travel on well Doug.

QuoteElliot Crouch said: "Why would he want to manage a team below his own in the same league?
"It's like Pep Guardiola wanting to manage Brighton?"
The correct analogy would be "It's like Eddie Howe wanting to manage Man Utd"

And at least theoretically I can't think of a better person to try and get some semblance of structure into our defence than Terry.
I know of another great candidate - excellent centre back with 400+ caps for Man Utd, captained the club too... and currently available. Should be able to really sort out a defence!

Only thing thag worries me about this is was Terry forced on him
At least it's clear from the start what this is... it's not a Roy Evans/Houllier scenario.
Actually I think Smith would have been pleased with Terry - someone who knows the club and the squad, he'll get some valuable insights to help him hit the ground running.
-
Not my first choice... but far from my last, and I'm relieved we've at least not gone down the road of Moyes/McCarthy/Pardew etc.
Think Terry is a good move.
Nice to have a Villa fan in charge. Best of luck Dean.

from my time at GAME, there is a benefit for each store to get pre orders, even if it means that pre ordering it is free, they don't even care if you buy it from there
take Red Dead 2 for example, the kidderminster store will get 200 copies + then 1 copy for each pre order, they only hold the pre orders for 36 hours then they can sell them, that's why we were made to ram it down peoples throats, it helps stop the store from selling out
interestingly (probably not...) i think Germany has banned pre orders on things that have no set release date
No, the problem is the word pre-order!
Not the concept of requesting something in advance, or to put it another way... ordering it.

"Dropped" does my head in.

And jelly beans aren't beans, they are jelly.
To continue in this vein - and most definitely qualifying as something that pisses me off...
Strawberries and raspberries are apparently not berries, they're "aggregate fruit".
And yet, the following are classified as berries: bananas, avocado, tomato, pumpkin, watermelon, kiwi fruit.
This really grind my gears. Way more than it should.

First Liverpool manager since the 1950s not to win a trophy
Or to spin it another way, the closest a Liverpool manager has come to winning the league title since Dalglish in 1990.

I like the orchestral sounds on the intro to the track - they've got a real vintage 60s/70s sound to them. Shame they appear less and less as the song goes on.

Yeah, I think Olof signed a pre-contract agreement with Juventus in January 2008, about the same time as Cahill was let go. It was Curtis Davies keeping Cahill out of the side at the time cos Mellberg was at right back, and I think Davies suffered a pretty bad injury shortly after... leaving us with Zat Knight to partner Laursen. Urgh.
In fairness to MON, Cahill said he wanted a guaranteed starting spot or he was leaving, and I don't remember the 2007/08 version of Cahill being good enough to deserve that. Then again, neither were Davies & Knight, so....
