Played really well today and while they should have had a penalty it’s not like it was a poor decision that caused it, he was in the process of clearing it and the player wasn’t in his eyesight and no shout from his teammates, just one of those. We’ve had plenty go against us over the years, this was one that went our way.

It doesn’t detract at all from the fact that he is playing really well for us at the moment. Long may it continue.

Tales of Graces comfortably my favourite in the series

The only thing I’m not a fan of is the slightly more realistic art style instead of the slightly cel shaded anime look. Makes it feel like a mix of Dragon Quest XI/Tales of. 

I still have no idea why Xillia is my favourite, I think it’s the locations which I loved. Followed by Symphonia. 

In 2 games Emery has got two thirds of Stevie’s points tally in his 11 games with one of the easiest fixture lists we’ve ever started with. Good riddance. 

Been watching Daredevil again from the start on Disney+. It’s so good. Just as good as first time watching it. VD as Fisk is just scarily perfect casting.

Have to say though, I’m about 3 hours in and it’s by far the best Tales of game I’ve played since Xillia. 

1/3 of our points tally so far this season in 2 games.

2/3 of Gerrards point tally this season in 2 games. 

All with the same players and set of conditions. Let that sink in.

Even if you’ve never heard of Ghibli (a studio that’s nearly 40 years old), if you have even a passing interest in films then you must’ve heard of Spirited Away before? 

The Cat Returns is a very underrated Ghibli film. As is Ponyo. Ponyo always gets treated like the red headed stepchild by people, I don’t know why though as it’s awesome. Both are my favourite two.

Random side note, when I got married we had Ghibli film table names with stills from the film printed out on stands.
