I was trying to think of clever word play for Clattenburg and Battenberg, but then I remembered Battenberg is tasty and enjoyable, Clattenburg is just a jelheaded word removed.

As far as refs go, I'm alright with Clattenberg. One of the better ones out there IMO.

 

He's my joint second most disliked. First is the fat word removed.

Trading baffles me, seems like you need to put in a few hours a day to get anywhere and there's just no time for that...

Yesterday I put in at least an hour of trading and I jumped from 18k to 130k. A lot of it is just buying one player in bulk, then relisting him when his price goes up in bulk. You make easy coin that way. For example, when Lukaku decided to go beast mode against Newcastle, his card price nearly doubled. When Lukaku scored his first goal, I went and bought about 20 of his cards for about 8-9k then his price went up to 12-14k. Then when Lukaku scored his 2nd goal, the priced was up to around 18-20K so I listed all mine at that time for 18k. Made nearly 180k within one football match. 

 

But then there are times when it doesnt work out for you. I bought 15 Welbecks yesterday once he scored hoping he would score again or at least have a good match, but that didn't happen. I am pretty much make 100-200 coin per Welbeck for that.

Or ending sentences with an ironic 'innit' ? I get ya. I mess around with words a lot and like the odd spoonerism amongst friends (ooo err). I've often accidentally used spoonerisms and other wordy cockups in serious discussions where they really shouldn't have been used ... purely out of habit.

Exactly! Another issue is intentionally saying a word wrong as an inside joke with someone but saying it to other people and hoping they weren't really listening... I can't give examples here as it's a phonetic issue 

I'm struggling through the last season of Dexter... It's like climbing a mountain, the further you go the harder it is.

Stupid slang words like "sik" or "safe" (that one's been gone for a while luckily). There are more but I've gone blank...

Actually "lol" was the worst, starting saying it to piss a girl I know off and it stuck.

He really isnt as bad as people make out

I agree mate, not nearly as bad a manager as soom make out. But lets forget about his actual record and concentrate on the fact he put a brolly up when it was pissing down.

I'm not suggesting for one second id like him as a manager at VP, but I do think he doesn't get the credit he maybe deserves.

 

 

No, he is that bad.

 

Granted he's had some success and fair play to him for that but you cannot be involved in such things as holding a brolly at the side of the pitch whilst managing England to one of their most humiliating nights and, speaking English with a Dutch accent during an interview.

 

He and Joey Barton took the term moronic to new levels with that shit, you don't even know where to start in criticising it.......
