My boss again, I could do with some advice. (This is one of three jobs, I work 15 hours p/w) you might have read the issues from before, which is what number 2 relates to

 

1) Apparently I have technical issues, my phone always breaks (my Samsung did, I got a replacement, but apparently every single phone is broken) my laptop is broken (this is the one I am on at the moment) and I have "technical" issues. Right. (As he sits there moaning because he cannot get on the internet and then begs to use my phone as a connection... yeah)

2) The rain issue last week, his comment on that "There is something wrong with you, we have had a heatwave all week" - erm.. yeah.

3) Apparently I am supposed to be available and must answer to him 24/7... "I tried ringing you at 1 in the morning, it was important, but don't worry..."

 

He is constantly saying "there is something wrong with you."!!! I went to a funeral a few weeks back, his comment was "Any more funerals coming up?" and of course, him ringing me when on holiday!!!!

 

I need some advice, I am quite a nice person (I come across as a prat on here, I'm just good at posting too quickly sometimes!) but I genuinely do not want to snap back so I need advice?

No. Fireworks are decent when appropriate.

 

In summer 2012 when I worked over in the States, at the end of the summer we put fireworks on the floating docks in the lake while we sat on the lake-beach. There was a storm about 10/15 miles away in the distance and it all looked absolutely spectacular.

 

It's hard to think it looks good when it's people letting off crappy cheap ones in Chelmsley Wood. I'm not a fan. Your event does sound much better though.

Bannan is shit end of debate On to Westwood, he deserves a place over KEA, as he offers more, should be him, Sylla and Delph in the midfield three, starting against West Spam next Saturday.

Sylla is the midfield enforcer, Westwood helps protect the back-four and set-ups assits with his array of passing abilities and Delph is the most attack-minded of the lot, going on runs past players whenever the **** he wants

Absolute rubbish. All Westwood does is pass sideways, try to pass forward and give it away, and take shit corners. KEA can pass, gets into good positions to take the ball and gets stuck in, he does a good all round job.

Delph motm?   It's a broken record in here **** hell.

I see where you're coming from, but the term 'Monkey' does have a history of being used as a racist term. It doesn't realllllly matter what the word means, it could be potato for all it matters, the fact remains that it has been used in a derogatory sense against black people in the past. Which is why you can say Gareth Bale looks like a chimp, but you can't make reference to any of our monkey friends when discussing the appearance of a black person.

It's a cracking place to live, but it's time to move on and start a new life in Brum with my wife and daughters.

Apparently, the term monkey simply referred to the fact that the guy hanged was probably a cannon powder monkey - the lad who held the cannon balls before loading or supplied the ordinance and powder.

So we killed a monkey yes, but probably just a Napoleon era powder monkey.

I read that too but I prefer the real monkey version, it's funny, whereas the young lad version is a little depressing.

 

Also while bored at work ended up around 200 pages back in this thread...some of you are odd to say the least.
