    Gabby is definitely good enough for England - Question is are England good enough for Gabby.

     

    Let's face it guy's n' gals, This is possibly the worst England side in living memory. The rest of the world must be laughing their socks off at us at the moment because let's face it we're really shocking aren't we? A total embarrassment in fact. We can't get the ball, keep the ball or pass it. I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised if we fail to qualify for Brazil next year.

     

    Obviously I hope we do because it will totally ruin next years Summer if we don't but I'm not ruling it out.

     

    One things for certain, if we don't qualify, our football definitely won't be missed.

     

    The other problem's you face when pulling on the 3 lions shirt is that you've every chance of being tapped up in the dressing room & having your head turned & worse still you also run the risk of getting a long term injury in some mickey mouse friendly (England v Scotland excepted)

     

    Gabby for England???????????????????  Yes. But definitely no.

    I'd like us not to qualify as I think Hodgson is no good for England, bad selections, bad tactics, bad all over. He has his favourites and that's that. I'd have preferred Redknapp even if he is a bit of an arse...

    Bit OT but had to comment.

    Is that definitely him? I know he put stuff up from his Keek account but he still only has 800 followers. Seems strange.

    He posted a keek accepting people's follow requests for the same twitter account, so it more than likely is him...

    It was pointed out to me today that we (or the people who still do) don't actually clap in the 19th minute, it's the 20th. Feel stupid for not realising before.

     

    I pointed this out towards the beginning of last season and some little scrote on Twitter was giving out like I didn't watch Villa and so didn't actually know which minute it happened in, when I was in fact (and I don't remember how or why it came up) just mentioning in passing that it was the 20th. I stopped arguing with him because he seemed to think it was a matter of opinion.

     

    It happened/happens in the right minute (I know you know that, quoted person), but it's not the 19th. Symbolically it had to happen while 19 was on the clock.

     

    It's just almost amusing that everyone says "19th minute applause" when it clearly isn't. People who aren't the brightest seem to get overly offended about this topic for no real reason...

    I wasn't going to stand and clap on the 19th but i looked like a right word removed not doing it with everyone around me doing it. It needs to stop though

    Thought Tonev looked good today, the whole front four interchanging and linking up looked very dangerous. Also good that they all seem to be able to have a good effort from distance.

    That's quite a reach. It sounds far more interesting than a tactical decision. 

     

     

    We will probably never know, but the fact is that Ireland did not play one minute after the Bradford match. Before that, he had been on the pitch in 17 matches.

     

     

     

    I remember in the Bradford game the team's play fell apart when he subbed Bannan, and we started playing hoofball.

     

    Perhaps that moment caused a rift between Bannan and Lambert, Bannan showing dissent?
