Then along come Real Madrid, a club bankrolled by city mafia and spend 100,000,000 euros on a footballer and even more on wages when their economy is made of blancmange and their kids have NO future.

to add, theres cities littered all over spain with no residence

    That's common knowledge!*

    *If you watch Top Gear

  2. I'm surprised at the gushing over the Ozil deal. Very good player, destroyed England at the last world cup but either:

    a) Arsenal wanted him all along but Real were unwilling to do business until  the Bale deal was complete before agreeing to sell him.

    B) Arsenal have panicked and broken their transfer record (by £27.5m) on deadline day on a little playmaker (the one position they didn't need) for a huge fee given Real were presumably keen to sell after shelling out for Bale.

Plus is his attitude a bit of an issue? He always looks in a mood.

I think it's just that he's got a funny face...

    FRAUD?

Spanish football writer Andy West: "Some bizarre reports coming out regarding United's collapsed Herrera deal. Apparently a group of men claiming to be United representatives spent an hour at the La Liga offices in Madrid today, but it turns out they had nothing to do with the club and were presumably just attempting to get a cut of the deal in an elaborate fraud.

"Must be stressed these are just rumours but the Spanish media have published pictures of men in black suits - supposedly the United "representatives" - coming out of the league offices carrying briefcases.

"All very strange and no doubt the truth will come out in the next few days."

That's so hilarious it doesn't even seem plausible.

  4. Lambert has to start bloodying the younger AM's if he's not going to buy one. Start with Gardener and Tonev in the weaker games, then move on to get Grealish some games.

Always saw Gardner as more of a "deep playmaker" almost like Gerrard (word removed). Grealish is a wide player too, no?

  5. Delph scored but gave the ball away a lot, again... El Ahmadi was good, passing (mostly) and tackling very well, hope he keeps his place. Shame Tonev didn't start as a central player as part of a forward 4 which could have been more effective against such opposition. would have liked to see a bit more clinical play on the break as we had 2 or more chances where we streamed forward only to pass the ball around their box for 30 seconds then waste the chance.

  6. I can't be the only person who sees Carruthers as a great option for the "number 10" role everyone keeps banging on about. Especially now he's getting some first team action and by the sounds of it doing well, come January (as this is the end of his loan right?) I'd like to see him make more appearances. Scores goals, creates goals, skillful, and strong (from what I've seen). One thing that stood out was the assist for Weimann during preseason against Paderborn. I think he deserves a chance.

Completely disagree and as the poll suggests, maybe you're being a mite harsh.

The poll is irrelevant, but that'd be a completely different issue, agree to disagree.

Well, it's not because it provides a sample with no real bias allowed. 31/73 not only thought he wasn't the worst player on the pitch as you suggest, but that he was actually the best.

I meant because it doesn't take into account why people voted for who they did, who watched the entire match and who has unnecessary bias opinions towards certain players.

Edit: I'm not one of those...promise!

Can't think of much except Delph being awful. Kept winning the ball and immediately giving it away. Heard people complain about Gabby giving it away but at least he looked dangerous when on the ball. Pretty miserable game to watch compounded by infighting in the crowd, embarrassing.

What? Delph was clearly our best player. To intentionally single him out as our worst player is ridiculous.

And the 'infighting' was 2 Liverpool fans in the Lower Holte who went mad when they scored. Get your facts right before having a whinge.

Didn't see anyone else give the ball away as much as him, I know I'm not the only one who thought he was poor. He can be very frustrating to watch at times as he will do something positive and then proceed to **** it up afterwards. He did that at least 5 times that I noticed yesterday.

I'll leave the second part as it's been cleared up. Although it was nothing to do with the stewards.

    Seriously? Even Bacuna???

Very serious. I thought Bacuna just had trouble decision making, got into good positions but didn't seem to know what to do next. He had a bad game but I don't think he was that bad...

Amazing how opinions can be so different. I thought Delph was our best player by a mile. Quick feet, taking people on, great tackling. Fantastic performance.

He does have some good qualities but he kept wasting his efforts by losing the ball. Opinions indeed...

  11. deservedly so imo.

Keeper should have been sent off. Second pen wasn't a pen however from his angle I cant drop him for that alone.

Second yellow card to their defender was a bit shit. Vlaar should have got a second yellow too. Luna getting booked?

If I was a gunner I would be losing my shit. But hey.. we had that all last season.

And the season before that...and before that...and before that... I think you get the picture.
