He's a poundshop Morinho - At least Jose got the titles he deserved. Klopp's career has come in a very different time too, okay we've got City up there, but it's hardly like it was under Fergie, Wenger and Jose. He's a rat, he lost his head years ago, he's been found out and now he's flapped. Shouldn't ever be consider in the top 10 Premier League managers ever.
Glad he's going. Whiney ratbag.
I'm not exactly a fan either, but seen as Liverpool have finished with 90+ points three times in the past five seasons under Klopp, I would be interested to see who is keeping him out of your top 10

Our branding so convoluted that other clubs laying claim to our lion
Perfectly illustrates why some of us were sceptical about having a standalone lion instead of an actual crest

I mentioned in another thread that I cancelled my membership when it last expired as I can't really afford to get to games at the minute. The club emailed me a few weeks ago with an offer to sign back up, I would assume it was a mass email sent out to people who had previously had a membership but cancelled/let it expire.
Presumably if I'd taken that offer up, I'd have been able to sign up without auto-renew, only for that feature to be taken away a few weeks later.
Really not a good look from the club

Meanwhile a person has set himself on fire outside the courthouse in NY just as jury selection was complete.
These MAGAs are mentally ill
Not a MAGA type apparently, identifed himself as an anarcho-communist online and held some strong/odd views about cryptocurrency.
Being named online as Max Azzarello for anyone who wants to do some digging on Twitter etc.

Would you rather watch Real Madrid at Villa Park, or see Aston Villa lift a trophy is the more accurate analysis.
You go for the former, I'd rather the latter.

Palmer is just 1 off of him to be fair
Hadn't appreciated that he had that many assists as well, some season for him
I'm more bothered about Ollie breaking 20 league goals, incredible that no one has done it for us in the top division for so long. I'm sure he'll be doing everything in his power for the golden boot though

I love Ollie but with the race for top4, coefficient fc, and the conference league, I absolutely do not have the mental energy to overly care whether he gets the golden boot or not. Sure Id be pleased but I’m too busy counting coefficient points to start tracking the goals involvements of Palmer and Solanke as well.
Haven't totted it up, but surely when assists are included as well no one is touching him for PL goal involvements this season

And those comments from Riley are outrageous, what exaxtly does she think she's doing to help things with inflammatory rhetoric like that? Hopefully damages her reputation as a public figure moving forwards

there's also a few comments just commenting on why bother helping the local community, why cant a football club just be a football club
its crazy how people cant see why villa would want to be involved with the local community, that the demographic of the local community is largely not white and english because of VP and what benefit getting the local kids to grow up villa rather B postcode reds has on the club
its bizarre all round
The disdain for the local community in B6 that you get with a very small minority of posts relating to new stadium chat/VP upgrades never ceases to amaze and disappoint me
Presumably the same posters are more than happy for us to farm young football talent from the same community in our new inner city academy

Have now had two emails off the club in the space of a week offering me 30% off a renewed Claret membership (let mine expire due to being priced out of regular attendance by the increase in ticket prices).
Could just be a cynical attempt by the club to rake in more passive income, but interesting that people are starting to notice empty seats and the club has sanctioned a new supporters group within the stadium.
Can't help but wonder if they're realising they've overplayed their hand slightly with the combination of price increases, TV and LG and want to get disgruntled core supporters back on side

Well no, as @chrisp65 rightly pointed out its more of a non-organisation as it is very similarly arranged to how the anarcho-syndicalists would have "organised".
I'd agree it's quite a loosely organised grouping, but still pretty coherent. Comparing to anarcho-syndacalism is way OTT IMO.
I'm ambivalent on BLM fwiw, the initial 'movement' generated real momentum, since then I'd say it's done some good work and some not-so-good things, but claims that there is no BLM organisation and its just a slogan feed into some of the nuttier gammon conspiracies about the movement IMO

What is your point?
Presumably responding to the claim in the original post that black lives matter isn't an organisation but merely a slogan. Evidently, it's both

Yeah that’s fair enough mate and a perfectly good reason . I get the club needs to try and bridge some of the gap with the clubs above us but it’s been a big hike for fans. When you have a few empty seats like against Brentford though it does question the apparent 30k waiting list.
Should note that I'm on the waiting list for a season ticket, but would have to think seriously about whether I could afford it if I was offered one now though with the price inflation since I initially put my name down a few years ago. I'd be pretty likely to turn it down if offered one this summer (which is doubtful anyway)

But it's not an organisation. It's a slogan.
It's both, really. As per blacklivesmatter.com:
Quote#BlackLivesMatter was founded in 2013 in response to the acquittal of Trayvon Martin’s murderer. Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, Inc. is a global organization in the US, UK, and Canada, whose mission is to eradicate white supremacy and build local power to intervene in violence inflicted on Black communities by the state and vigilantes
That said, Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, Inc. doesn't exactly scream Marxist-Leninism at you

I like Peep show but can only watch a few episodes at a time. Funny, but gets infuriating pretty quickly.
Keeps it way off the top of the charts for me
