My choices would be: Parker Van Bommel Boamorte Danny Mills Berger Yakubu or Alan Smith Philips I won't hold my breath but I would be delighted if that lot were signed in the summer.

Danny Mills is exactly the type of nasty bastard we need in our squad. Horrible fcuker, winds up the opposition and dirty in the tackle. And he can play a bit as well.

Van Bommell would be an awesome signing but as half of fcuking europe will be after him in the summer I won't hold my breath. I'd go for 2 fullbacks - can;t think of any at the moment Scott Parker/Van Bommell Boa Morte Alan Smith & Yakubu

I think he was a definite target for the summer if we hadn't announced that we were going to spend big in the summer. I think DOL has as much said that he will now go back to players he had forgotten about because he thought he would never have the money. That said he may well be bought as a squad filler. £1m at most for me.

Alan Smith for me out of that list. As others have said he has the passion and agression that is sadly lacking in our squad. He is one of those players who goes out in every game to win, no matter who he is playing against. I wouldnt be surprised if we buy Can't Control as well as A.N Other striker.

I've voted for Barry. I remember his pen against Bolton in the Fa Cup semi. For a young kid under that amount of pressure it was class. He is also the most likely to be on the pitch out of him and my 2nd choice which would be Tommy Hitz. I think either of them would have no problem knocking the ball and the goalie if need be into the back of the net.

Very good point! Olly has been at fault for quite a few of the goals we have let in this season and for me has yet to hit top form. Could it be that he has had to play with a different partner in crime this season? Who else springs to mind who has had some of the same?
