The way some of you go on you'd think the threat of domestic terror attacks was a myth. I've been told by sources intimately connected to these things that many 1000's of UK nationals have been through naughty training camps in Pakistan, and continue doing so today. Far more in fact than MI5 have the capability to keep tabs on, as evidenced by the fact they knew some of 7/7 bombers were bad guys but assessed (wrongly as it turned out) that others presented a more immediate threat. Some of the successes they have had in stopping terror attacks against UK targets since 7/7 are phenomenal and long may that continue, but they are monitoring 100's of potential plots at any one time that originate from our own countrymen.

Due to our links with Pakistan the UK is in a uniquely **** up position in the Western world regarding the numbers of extremists our society contains. France has a large extremist problem from its immigrant population that originated in North Africa, but nothing even approaching the same scale as us.

It will all end very badly one day.

In that case, what I don't get is why it hasn't happened repeatedly. You don't need to go to a training camp to kill tens or hundreds of people. Imagine two or three people at different points in a crowd, each with a homemade explosive or even a simple few guns. One blows up/opens fire, the crowds panic, another one blows up/opens fire, people panic even more, people trampled to death, hundreds dead in any busy area. It's not something you need to learn, it'd not something you could gather intelligence on. You could decide to kill a few people one afternoon and be done by that evening.

If there's not a terrorist attack at the Olympics, then I can only think there is pretty much no threat. It's not hard to make an explosive device and shove it in your backpack. If there's such a great threat, these things would happen at football matches (if not inside then outside), shopping centres, markets all over the place.

Equal points is decided by head to head yes? Not goal difference. Hence Russia, with a superior goal difference, finished below Greece on head to heads.

Now if holland and Germany win today, even if holland win by ten, they would finish level on points with Denmark. Denmark beat holland so on head to head, Denmark will finish above holland. So holland cannot qualify. Am I missing something or is everyone else?!

I find it very useful for photo-sharing and arranging things with big groups of friends. I coulnd't be without it personally.

As for whether it's ever going to make money though, I don't know. If they start charging it'll be the death of them, and if they start taking the piss with adverts due to shareholder pressure, it'll only take one entrepreneurial sod to setup a Facebook type jobby with an 'import all photos/contacts/messages' option to kill it off completely. Given that Zuckerberg has made more money than it's possible to spend, and that he still has a controlling stake in the company, he'll be more concerned with keeping it on top of its game rather than pandering to shareholders and slamming it full of adverts. For that reason, I can see its value dipping massively, but keeping its userbase.
