Think the situation has been so bad that it's very unfair to distinguish between bad management and restraints. It's not exactly been great again this window in terms of financial help but we'll see. I'm a big fan of Hutton for Scotland so I'm hoping he shows that form this season

As a season ticket holder at Dundee Utd I'll keep you updated on him from our little terrible league. Which is brilliant just now by the way but keep judging without watching. Lots of exciting youths coming through just now

I'm a Dundee Utd season ticket holder and a lot of clubs are looking at our youngsters. Andy Robertson just left for Hull and I really wish Lambert had gone for him. Ryan Gauld went to Sporting Lisbon, Feyenoord are looking to bid for Nadir Ciftci and we still have a fewyoungsters highly rated. Scotland u21 captain Stuart Armstrong is my pick of the bunch (along with Robertson) He's brilliant and sadly due to us being lowly scotsmen he will leave us for a fraction of his worth. With Lambert's tight budget I'd like to see him go to Villa if he has to leave at all, It was rumoured a wee while ago that Lambert was interested in Armstrong so I'm not just rambling for the sake of it. .......Honest

I think he's going to be a really good player this season. Loads of potential, hopefully it's his breakthrough year. Seems a really nice lad......thick as mince but nice all the same
-
Yeah I'm aware that his highlight video is just gonna show his good play but it's not a given that a highlight video will show him popping up all over the place. Would a highlight video of Hutton show him popping up all over the pitch?
It would actually
-
yup there we go. Strange that he puts in great performances time and again at international level. Clearly there's a good player there. Carry on though
-
I'm very much in the minority but I don't think we'd have struggled nearly as much last season with Hutton in the team. He's a good player who's become a major scapegoat.........a major bellend but a cracking player.

So the article that's started it all said he'd held talks with Lambert but he has actually been in Korea at a wedding.
So the article is made up then? Yep, nothing to see here.
Telephone?
As for the racist thing. The Japanese / Korea antipathy is well known, with the Koreans usually being on the receiving end. I would hardly blame Ki for that.
what an ignorant comment. Ah well it goes on a lot so he should be doing monekey gestures all he wants

To clear up some issues on this thread.
1. Rumours that Ki is in Birmingham and maybe had a medical - UNTRUE
Ki attended a friends wedding with his wife two days ago. He was due back into the UK to start training with Swansea at the start of next week. He was leaving Korea this weekend to come back to the UK.
2. Ki is racist against the Japanese - UNTRUE
Ki is not a racist. At the time of the incident he said though a Korean FA executive
"The treatment he got from the Scottish league, especially in the away games, the people who made noises like the sound of the monkeys in Scotland when he played away games, that is something he wanted to highlight,"
3. Latest from the Korean Media
Reporting no contact from Aston Villa to his agent but this is just words. Most websites are going with the story but quoting the British press where this story has started.
Ki for his part will just continue to enjoy the summer and lets hope it's Aston Villa instead of Swansea he is coming back to.
For the meantime anyone fancy fish?
In terms of the Scottish thing, pure nonsense. He was caught making a racist gesture towards the Japanese and monkey is something they use as an insult towards the Japanese. He said the Japanese are our enemy so I make no apologies so don't start that nonsense about monkey chants in Scotland towards him, never happened.
Lots of Scots did say this but Cha and Ki had complained about racism before the Asian Cup and authorities never took action and that is why Ki tried to highlight it on the international level.
That article is from November 2010. There was no action taken and Ki highlighted the issue at the Asian Cup in January 2011.
I find it back that Ki is brave enough to face racism and yet some people use it to call him a liar?
So without evidence either way you are willing to say the scots fans are racist and he is a hero? He may very well have had someone shout something at him, terrible if true but I very much doubt that's the reason he did that when he saw rising sun flags....makes no sense

Please, I'd be over the moon with this. Guaranteed revenue stream too.
Yeah right, I'm sure Swansea are just making money hand over fist in Korea right now.
yup it's a common and quite frankly patronising misconception. Also very rude when idiots like big Sam say it's pretty much the reason for signing Nakata while he was sitting at his press conference.. As someone who is very much into Japanese culture including football, this perception of asians only being good for shirt sales is nonsense. Due to a large number of asians in Europe it's much less of a case now, very different when there was only a couple. Germany has really tapped into the Japanese market and there is some very good talent there, I'd like Villa to do the same.....anyway, Ki is a cracking player but a racist clearing in the woods. Been in trouble a few times for comments made towards the japanese.

Got up and played on like a man. Saw him on the sideline saying 'I'm OK' and getting on with his business.
-
Most folk on here claiming he should be getting an England call up last week.

I would suggest it's more like a hive mind of sheep with the odd person with the ability to form their own opinion. Nice use of sarcasm thoughBipolar villa talk strikes again
It's almost as if the forum is comprised of thousands of members each of whom has their own opinion.

I'll take down your particularsIf it wasn't for Alan Partridge I;d really hope Norwich was overwhelmed by the fires of Hell and all its demons.
Luckily you've been saved by a comedic character, you slags.

I should clarify, I am not a Bowery hater as he comes on at difficult times which is never good for a guy trying to find his feet in the prem but just answering the question of what Holt did better
-
Held it upWhat did he do that Bowery didn't do when he used to come on?
Apart from getting booked for cheating.
-
Came on at an awkward time for a striker but did his job. Calmed the game down and held it up
-
Lol Lambert the bouncer! Brilliant game
-
Yup he's certainly not worth an ounce of the hate getting spouted on here.
-
Brilliant, really refreshing humour therewhat i dont understand is how a footballer of his experience is so bad
i can only put it down to the fact that hes scottish

unreal, bi-polar villamad strikes again. I was slaughtered a month or so ago for saying what has pretty much been said for the the last two pages. To a man/woman everyone was saying how he deserved the treatment he got
