  1. Lambert is a young ambitious manager who does have great pedigree as a player and his philosphy to play the right way is a good one but he has tried to run before he can walk. Replacing the nucleus and spine of a team with unproven kids simply will not work at this level, especially with ones like Bannan, Delph, Herd, Clark that for me simply are not good enough to be starting every week. He needed to buy atleast two more proven and experienced players in the summer to give us more balance and knowledge in key areas. Im all for giving kids a chance but they have to be blended in not all thrown in together as naivety meets rash in a very unpleasant manner,

January is now the most important month in Lamberts managerial career as if he gets it wrong we could be in a world of shit come may!.

    fair, balanced, correct
  2. I went for those budget seats in the upper Holte (I am scottish afr all) I it's only two seats at that price, it must be a little railing in the way or something. Not too bothered though, first live game for a long time. Don't know any other Villa fans so haven't been since my parents took me in 99 against Forest. My mate doesn't have an English team though and wants to see a premiership match, this may convert him ha. Cheers guys

  3. Yea it only appears to be the isle seats at the front, they're 24 quid as opposed to the rest of the section's 31 quid. Just wondered what the story is there. It gives you a warning of viewing restriction, probably just railings or something seeing as it's at the front

  4. Sorry lads it's probably a topic that's been done to death over the years but the search function is bringing me no joy. Me and my mate are coming down from Dundee for the Southampton game and it's my first in a long time. Was just wondering what the best seats are at the more budget prices. K6 in the upper holte is a great price but it claims it's restricted view. Any help lads?

  5. What happens if/when Guzan makes a bad mistake? Does he get dropped in favour of Given?

I like the fact that Lambert brought him in for the Newcastle game, but a firm number 1 needs to be established, and stood by, over the coming weeks.

Why? Knowing you are going to get dropped if you mess up big time will keep them on their toes and is consistent and fair

  6. Don't think he was , Proberley don't know where villa park is

    Yes because you know him.

I think CI can post some controversial things at times but it seems to be a new craze to just insult him or try and wind him up, and it seems new posters with low post counts love jumping on this bandwagon like it will earn them some acceptance on here.

    It's pretty pathetic.

I think you might find I have been a member for a few years now and just because I don't post very is because I enjoy reading other people's posts bit I think saying lowton was rubbish yesterday is complete tripe do I thought I had say my two pence worth but CI does post rot at times

Did you hear what that pot just called the kettle?
