What's interesting and well nice is checking out the Guardien Chalkboard, usually all our midfielders passes, you can see are all round the centre, very short passes, 90% about 10 yards maximum, yet went onto Bannan's and it's just sprayed all over the park, long, medium, short passing, all different places on the pitch.

Nice to have someone willing to try passes like for the goal.

Have to be one of the most over-rated "rock" bands ever. First 2 albums were brilliant, at the time. But Jesus christ, everything else has just been awful and so samy, they're the most uncharismatic band to ever exist. They're all as individuals so boring, and it shows through the music. There's nothing rock n roll about this band in music terms or in terms of the members of the band. So boring. Dave Grohl is an absolutely awful frontman. He's just a friendly nice guy who's lyrically naive playing nerd rock.

They don't have a say in how many away fans are allowed at a game, the minimum allocation is part of the rules of the competition. Never ever heard of an instance where the Police have been able to influence the numbers of fans attending a game. Kick-off times will be altered on their advice (see Sundays silly kick off for that) but actual numbers attending? Not sure they have the power to do that.

It's up to 15% of capacity as far as I'm aware.

I was thinking the same as Bicks with regards to the police not being able to dictate the numbers of away fans. But thinking about it, the Met Police did just that for Milwall's league cup game at West Ham last season - they reduced their allocation from 3,000 to 1,800. And we all know what a difference that made, although it was mainly West Ham 'fans' causing trouble.

It was a good game overall actually, some cracking goals.

Surely if the other guy had remained connected so he could win all of your money it couldn't have been their site? (I am in no way an expert, so that's actually a genuine question)

I really don't know, but my wireless connection was fine, so it couldn't have been an issue with that and a dialogue box saying 'you've lost your connection' appeared about 30 seconds after the screen froze.

If you're using a wireless router, your wireless connection is different from your internet connection, so there could have been a dropout on that which may have disconnected you from the site, even though the wireless was connected throughout.

Their website says they've taken 3k in Witton Upper and Lower.

Looks like Trinity Upper might not be opened for this game according to the online ticket site. It says unavailable and then the graphic shows all blocks as red and sold out, which I doubt very much!

This is the first time I've been on VT since leaving WHL on Saturday.

I've not been so positive after a defeat for a long while. We played really well at times, we just weren't clinical enough with our finishing and they were. That's why they are in the CL and we aren't.

I think some are being harsh on Dunne. Once again he made some brilliant blocks and looked more like the player of last season. For the goals I don't necessarily think it was bad positioning. Crouch's first header went straight to VDV and, if anything, I think Luke could have done better on the line. For the 2nd one Dunne had to attempt to block the first shot and it was clever play from VDV to give him a clear shot at Friedel.

Was really impressed with NRC. I think I read earlier in the thread someone slating A Young. Unbelievable. He is a livewire and he looked dangerous all game long. Heskey was again brilliant before he went off. Really pleased for Albrighton to get off the mark.

The most frustrating thing was conceding the winner after we'd weathered the storm and were having our best spell of the 2nd half!

5 yellows = banned immediately for 1 game. This ban for accumulation of yellows only applies for cards picked up by 31st December.

10 yellows = banned immediately for 2 games. This ban for accumulation of yellows only applies for cards picked up by second sunday in April.

15 yellows = banned immediately for 3 games. This ban for accumulation of yellows applies all season.

Red Card = banned immediately, usually for 1 game although it can be 2 games (using offensive or insulting or abusive language/gestures) or 3 games (Violent Conduct, Serious Foul Play or spitting at an opponent or any other person). All these bans are increased by 1 further game if it is a second red within one season, or by two extra games if it is a third red etc.

Sent off for 2 yellows = a red card and you are banned accordingly. These yellows do NOT count for accumulation of yellows purposes.

It's the same allocation as last season and I'm fairly sure we didn't sell out then....although I was in lower so couldn't see upper!

It changed for 5 yellows to 31st Dec last season. It used be something daft like the 2nd Sunday in Feb I think.

working nearby and due to give someone a lift home from a party later the same evening - so have to 'waste a few hours' between 7pm and 10pm. With a little bit of effort I'll get my petrol on expenses and my ticket covered by a grateful friend of me missus that won't drive motorways!
