I know it's been talked about on here before, but Ian posted in another thread that a North Stand steward has said away fans are going to be moved into the upper and lower of Witton Lane. Can you confirm?

I've given up trying to get food / drink at half time in the Upper Witton as things are so damn tight in the concourse, you can't move when there's a bigish crowd at the game.

Just wondering what position Steve Stride has at the club now- can you tell us if he is likely to be there in the long term future?

And also, the Chief exec, Fitzgerald I think his name is, is he actually in the job now? Just asking because I didn't see his name in the programme under "who's who" at the last few matches.

I can answer part of that for you. In the original press release, it said that Richard Fitzgerald starts work at the Villa on 01.01.07.

Reckons it will take the mid 50 millions to buy the club but thinks Lerner will go into the 60's if needed.
