Perfect. Man City have to win on Tuesday because of goal difference. Draw no good .

Its going to be painful. With so few players available. The second striker and number 10 roles have been devastated. We might only have Diaby with Zaniolo, Rogers Ramsey Bailey Tielemans and Buendia out with MCginn also having to play pivot rather than further forward. Mental

the transfer fee is what it is you shouldn't judge him by it, he cost £45m doesnt live up to it, rogers cost £10m kamara cost £0 moreno cost what he cost, it all means nothing about ability to kick a football
buendia and diaby weren't worth what we paid for them, ollie, emi and mings were worth double what we paid for them, such is football, stop looking at the £
The one problem with that in my opinion. is we don't have the revenue to have flops when we spend huge money . They have to work out. 40 mill plus 150k a week salary works out at i think 15.5 mill a year cost to us once you split over the 5 year term . About 7% of our total turnover spent on him if i have the maths right. If we tried to sell him now we would take a 20 mill loss and it would impact on our ability to spend far more than what it would for say Spurs or Manure. I get that we have got free transfers as well but they are on big salaries as well. I have faith that he will get better though. Maybe the system needs tweaking on the right a little to help him use his pace more.

I think you make a lot some very valid points - but equally we had zero good fortune over the two legs imo
Yeah. I agree. But Olympiakos earned there luck by playing really well. We played ok at best. Emery was outthought over the 2 legs. Still love him though.

His numbers are better than his performances.
Can only be better next season, right? Right?
Thats spot on. Hasnt had a stand out performance in terms of 90 minutes for a while.

Standards and expectations have been raised. Diaby was meant to be next level but he just isnt shining that much. Nothing comes off for him. Devoid of luck and confidence. First touch seems to be often terrible. Need far far more from him. Bailey type stats should be expected from him

Disjointed. Thats how i would sum up the home and away legs. First leg we folded under pressure. 2nd leg we played better but not how we needed to. The passing seemed to be at a pace that said we needed one goal not 3. Its something that has really annoyed me in Europe. We are down to the bare bones and those barebones are knackered and devoid of creativity. I feel that if Emery has a no excuse culture then he cannot be absolved of blame for tactics that didnt work . A real shame to miss out on winning something.

We were utterly apalling last week and still managed to score 2 and miss a pen. I would hope for better but its only the second half v Arsenal where we have looked proper decent in the last month or so, and thats the type of performance we will need for 90 mins this evening .

Cole Palmer is most definitely not overrated.
As much as that pains me to say.
Probably underrated if anything
He looks like a kid who hangs around outside the local shops. Not a care in the world. But he has the lot.

Hull sacked their manager. Fans aren't happy, believe they overachieved this year and manager being scapegoated because they dropped off toward end of the season, but seems as though they're pretty frustrated and thinks he's done a great job.
Wonder how that'll impact Philogene-Bidace and whether he stays or not, have to imagine they'll be desperate to keep him but may impact him whether he decides to push for a move.
Nuts move by the owner. Held in such high regard by the players. But thats football. His remit was minimum playoffs i guess and he failed to achieve that.

Palace are properly cooking now. If we turn up to theirs like we did against Brighton they will murder us. That young kid from Blackburn is a proper player

Don't know about you but we would be a laughing stock playing CL. I just don't understand how everyone has fallen off a cliff form wise.

The set of results that had to happen to relegate them even if they won is absolutely bizarre.
Youd have got very good odds on Wednesday, Plymouth, Blues and Blackburn all to win.
Would have earned a fortune surely .

Tom Wagner is an absolute genius to pull this off, yet still they adore him because of him Trumpesque ways that are lapped up by their simpleton fans.

Yep. They need to be other side of pitch from one another. Diaby doesnt beat a man on the right so put him left . Keep them away from one another
