  1. It's for a good cause (the site) and I'm sure a few users would vouch that I wouldn't lie about it.

If I sleep with her in November I'll donate a tenner to VT

If I don't sleep with her in November you donate a tenner to VT

Unless somebody else wants to take my place so I'm effectively impartial.

If we amend "sleep with" to any sort of sexual touching, i guess im in, VT deserves a tenner in your honour for being mentaly the strongest guy in the world!

A hot girl offering you, a guy who hasnt had sex in over a year, meaningless sex. Refusing that is like god like.

Not trying to persuade you or anything, but you have had sex with an ex before right..... i guess its a whole other debate but in my opinion its gotta be the best sex you can have! i have never and will never sleep with a prostitute so i will never be able to compare it with that, but there has to be a reason footballers do that

    so im in, you?

  2. Bet:

I will Donate £10 to Villa talk if Dante does not screw her sexy little brains out during the month of November

    Any takers?

    Hows that for incentive?

oh and my thoughts: Id smash it, then again i seem to have this situation alot and i much prefer it to a one night stand! They know exactly how i like Zak Jr to be treated!

Can we get this on the opening post or something and then add to it every time he does something to get on the list

  4. I hope Dublin sorts itself out, I'm heading there this weekend.

I can see the Romanis dropping their roses and becoming gondoliers over the next few days.

Yeah im over aswell... mean to be playing lacrosse, not really something they can postpone either so it better be sorted out!

  5. If you dont like Ryanair dont fly with them! Simple. No point in the outrage.

The Irish Aviation Authority told the Daily Mail that they were satisfied with the ground crew's decision to add tape to the window, adding that it should last up to seven days. A spokesman said: "All the maintenance was carried out in line with the correct procedures. The pilot took the correct action by returning to base."

So Ryanair did what was considered appropriate......

I dont work for Ryanair, but i have flown with them alot. I have flown return from the Uk to Ireland for 12 euro total a couple of times. thats cheaper than the aircoach return i get from the airport to Dublin city center.

Anyway for me I am very greatful for Ryanair, here is no way I would have done the traveling I have without them. To be fair they are rarely delays unlike easyjet that seem to be delayed every time I get on them

Anyway this may be true about the seats may not, but I don’t think I have ever used the Ryanair toilets and there still will be one if im desperate so ill take the savings.

It is likely this imay not happen like charging for the toilets. They are just suggestions which give lots of free publicity

Just like the free publicity they got from increasing the breast size of their Logo

Michael O'Leary knows exactly what hes doing!

  6. the champions league group stages really are shit, aren't they? only get interesting towards the end, when it's essentially a knockout game. so why bother? well money of course, but still.

they should change to a knockout competition from the start and the higher seeds come in later. like the FA cup.

Unless you were watching Shaktar Donesk vs Zenit St Petersburgh, that game was intense!

  7. The problem is they don't do themselves any favours.

They have turned down other sites, they have turned down homes.

I was listening to 5Live yesterday as they interviewed a traveller who said that her friend Nora had been "beaten" by the Police, was "brutalised" and had "no face left". When the reporter then spoke to Nora, she said that she'd fallen over.

I have no problem with them living the lifestyle they want but it MUST be within the bounds of the law, and unfortuantely, this site wasn't. It was not racism or ethnic cleansing (Is "Irish" an ethnic group anyway?) but pure and simple planning enforcement against a group of people who refused to co-operate.

If I build a house without planning consent, and then refuse to demolish it if required to do so, I also would expect the Council to do it for me.

I think if anyone was talking about ethnic cleansing or racism it would be reffering "Travellers" and not "Irish"

  8. I've bought a houuussseeeee!!! :D

(Well... The offers been accepted, house taken off the market, 'sold' sign is sitting outside and I just need to deal with the boring money stuff now)

    Warning:

Do not count your chickens before they have hatched!

You would be suprised how often things still dont work out from here. Happened to me with my first attempt and nearly happened to the place i did finally buy (which was second attempt) Happy my first attempt didnt go through as i prefer this place

  9. Is the Demo easier than the normal game?

I didnt do much regarding Tactics, brought in 2 players (Douglas Costa and dos Santos) who have both been superb.

by the end of the Demo so Jan 1st i am in Second with SAF and AVB discussing Villa as title contenders, its really me and City already!

    Just seemed really easy.

  10. Not Jonny Wilkinson on current form!

Would go with whoever Ireland name at 10 vs Wales.

I am really, really looking forward to Wales-Ireland on Saturday - hopefully both sides at full whack, what a game it will be - Roberts v O'Driscoll, Shane and North vs Earls and Bowe and probably the biggest point will be at the face - whoever wins that front 5 battle will win this game.

My heart is telling me Wales - but its going to be very, very close. I just can't see how Ireland will stop Wales going forward with Roberts, Falatau and North breaking tackles at will so far this tournament and how good Wales' scrum is - the weakness for us is our lineout - about time the 6'10 charteris woke up a bit!

What a game its going to be though - I expect that game will produce this half's finalist. England are too static to beat either side and France are in complete disarray.

Dont discount the dirty Bokke from making the final either. Everything seems to be falling into place for them.

Ah now, the Ireland scum wasnt looking too bad against Italy! im very much enjoying watching our 3 beast-like back row. Its crazy that i think our no8, heaslip (6ft4 & ^17st) is the least animal in the back row.

anyway should be a great game and if you beat us i hope you go on to win the thing (or at least knock out england if you meet them)

  11. Oh what the actual ****?! **** Websense is blocking the FIFA 12 topic in the Games and Gaming forum!

You mean you've missed the incredible revelation that's just happened in that topic? It's now better than the honeytrap thread!

I'd HATE to be missing that thread right now

That i KNEW this was not the case but still had to check it out!!

  12. My Mom constantly moving my stuff. She gave me a folder so I can put all my Uni related stuff in, then when I leave a letter out that I need to take to the bank so I can get a student account, she shoves it in some unfindable place. What's the **** point in that?

On the same not, my mother-in-law comes round our house (while im not there) and rearranges things. Moves things to different draws etc.

Go and mess in your own house you old witch!

    changing of house locks FTW?

There's no way I'd be having anyone around my property when I'm not in unless expressly invited.

An Englishman's home is his castle! :P

    Touche. :)

Problem is mate, she only lives about a 10 minute walk away (which im trying to change desperately, dropped our house price another £5k last week, but thats another story). So while im at work, whenever the missus isnt working she comes round to see the missus and the little'un.

    Desperate you say?

i can offer £100 and 5 bottles of orange and pinapple squash!

    deal?

  13. Thanks guys,

It is a little easier playing a less major sport for a fairly small country. Although Ireland are around the 7th/8th rank in the world which includes The Iroquois (native americans who get their own national team out of respect for their sport) They however did not make the Worlds in Manchester due to Iroquois Passports not being accepted by the UK even when America and Hilary Clinton got involved and vouched for them. Was a real shame!

Wouldn't it have been smart of them to carry US passports too?

Maybe but obviously they see their Heritage as an extremely important matter

They have travelled on a team on those passports to tournaments since 1977 not having a problem

Theoretically they were invited to compete in the tournament as the nation of Iroquois by the U.K

But i guess the main factor is they are Iroquois not the US or Canada(some would be from Canada)

That is infinitely debatable, isnt it? I read a bit more on the story and it seems we refused to let them in because we didnt know whether the USA would have them back, which is fair enough given the hoo ha over immigration that is always in the news here.

The US vouched for them, that wasnt good enough for us, again understandably so, then the US offered them passports which they refused.

Now I get that they consider their heritage to be very important. They might not recognise the US as a point of principle but the undeniable truth is that they are entitled to a passport and their life would have been made much easier with one. Just because you carry a passport doesnt mean you surrender your nationality. People carry multiple passports all the time, there are more people who hold dual citizenship in this world than you can shake a stick at. They probably should have done that.

I think if you are reading up on this alot of news sites from the U.K are not the best source of imformation, i believe one paper talks about how in their first game they were to play against The British team however there is no british team, there is an English/Scottish/Welsh and i guess Irish team.

But the way i saw it happening was that the U.S did eventually (very vey late) allow them to travel and then the U.K did not allow them visas even though it was believed that they would allow the visas once the U.S. agreed to let them back into the country, which i am pretty sure eventually was the case.

Personally i dont think they should have flown on U.S passports if they are being invited to play as the iroquios, its a matter of pride. Its a shame they didnt play, as they play a diferent way to other national teams but i fully respect their decision.

this might be a better read on the subject

  14. Looking at sports clubs to join in my new college. It's my third attempt at doing something with myself after college hours. I usually am very lazy about it and have yet to attend anything I wanted to. This is a new me though. I'm looking at fencing or some sort of martial art. Maybe both. Something at which I and everyone else in the class will be a complete beginner so I don't seem like someone who has spent the last 17 years in front of a computer. Anyone find a hidden gem of a sports club that wouldn't expose me as a deviant and that I'd enjoy.

What college are you at? I was part of the Lacrosse team at UCD, everyone starts as beginners in Uni. I would definatly suggest it depending on which college. I have represented Ireland 19 times now after starting in UCD including in the European Championship and World championship, which is pretty insane when i think about it.

Yeah it is UCD. I'll have to give that a look

Good stuff, its a good sport to start at this stage as everyone is in the same boat! PM me if you want to know anything else , I can also get you in touch with people from the club. Although you can just go see them at the sports expo first week of the semester
