  1. The SNP is over,  Murrell arrested.

This is why Sturgeon suddenly stood down as she didn't want to be arrested whilst FM I suspect.

The SNP was created to do something that can't be done by people who couldn't do it and knew it and convinced some followers to make them  very wealthy indeed by telling them they are doing the thing that can't be done and now it's all over. It was all a waste of everyone's time.  The SNP was just a get rich quick scheme for those at the top and now it has thankfully disintegrated.

She absolutely would, her Deputy Leader position is elected by the membership, now that doesn't automatically mean she's in the cabinet but should something happen to Starmer. she'd have to take over, so she really does need to know what is going on, for her not to be in the cabinet would be unthinkable really

Actually you are right,  I really mean Number 2.  Its a ying and yang thing that goes perfectly with Starmer from a Appeal to everyone POV

the US attitude to this aspect of constitution i find utterly bonkers. someone help me here. why do americans cling to it so dearly? if they made guns illegal, why does this upset them so much?

It reads and interprets how you want it too I suppose depending on the reader.

At it's best its a basic instruction sheet for a pop up country that relied on a belief the population would use it as a guide to build a safe and secure country for all.

I think they are just scared,  if he has a gun and I don't I can't say nasty things to him and he can say them to me.  Without the guns they are the same as you and me.  With a gun,  they are,  in their mind tougher, bigger and they take no **** from no-one.

Being permanently scared is no good for no one and end up with people "Stocking up" on weapons'.  Too scared to not have a gun and too scared to move to a country without guns.

Then: "I have supported schemes where cannabis possession does not result in arrest/prosecution"

The Netherlands has a usage of approx 10% of its population and its totally legal and taxed.  The UK is at 7.5% approx and it is illegal.

The arrest and prosecution of people and the fact this is the start of an easy way to make money on the street in the UK must cost billions and billions a year.

It seems a money pit for what gain ?

It’s a TV channel from a dystopian work of fiction.

    It unfortunately escaped to reality

Does Anyone actually watch it ? I am mildly scared to be fair.

  6. What the actual **** is GB news.

Never seen it before today you see,   2 minutes ago to be precise.

Having previously enjoyed series 1, I'm looking forward to watching series 2.

Just one thought from me, your 'excellent, really good 7/10' has me wondering - is it excellent or 7 out of 10?  In my mind, 'excellent' is a 9 and a 7 is merely 'good'.

I do appreciate my 'matching adjectives to scores' is probably for the Boring Thread!😆

I am so glad you asked.  Well,  7/10 for a series these days is like Europa league.  8 and 9,  Champ league.  etc.  Seems harsh I know.

It's very difficult to make a truly amazing series these days IMO or we would see more. Its easy to make rubbish or turn into rubbish.

Star Trek Discovery 3/10 or Latest series of Happy Valley 2/10 as two good examples of when things go badly wrong.
