  1. Well, there's the first one... Disgraceful behavour from Chelsea
  2. looking like pens folks. So who's it going to be? I really don't have the faintest idea who will win it if it does go to pens
  3. Game has gone right off the boil now, both teams cautious not to give it away in the dying minutes. Wouldn't be surprised to see a sending off or two and pens
  4. Clive Tyldesley has always been a biased commentator, his bias towards Liverplop is quite unbelievable at times.
  5. There were complaints about the pitch beforehand, it looks dreadful in places. Chelsea definately have the momentum at the moment
  6. It just gets better and better. Amatuers the **** lot of them. Small Heath, Small Time
  7. That always cracks me up. And the SOTV bit also, as I said earlier on this thread their obsession with Villa and their desire for us to fail is far greater than their own desire for thier club to succeed, that is why they will always be a small time club.
  8. 5-6 years ago we were a club in trouble, drifting along aimlessly, being out thought and out played by our local rivals. We held our heads in shame, felt like shit and bemused that our club could have fallen to the depths of losing to the arch enemy without a fight. Understandably they made the most of their success and continued to rub it in until Sunday 11th November 2007. I feel it was at this point that AVFC took a massive step forwards and SHA an even bigger step backwards in the standings of the two clubs. I'm not just referring to the one game but more importantly the pschological edge it gave us. Since 2002 we've traded results, bitter defeats, bitter draws (from the jaws of victory) and long awaited victories. From the SHA fans I know, I always sensed that they felt the next victory for them would always be that next game, always expecting us to slip up in some stupid fashion or let our superiority lead our egos. BUT in the season they were out of the Premiership our club was transformed into a far more professional outfit. Nothing or no-one was taken for granted. We have a manager who has 12+ Old Firm derbies behind him, a board that goes about it's business outside of the Evening Mail. When SHA returned they were not expecting the AVFC they came up against. Sure the game in November was hard fought and tight (as most Derbies are) but we have a new found resilience and attitude and for once a little bit of luck on our side, Gabby clears off the line and goes straight down the other end with the killer blow, the psychological edge was born. Now it was our turn to be the club moving forward in the right ways and the usual shambles that Gold & Sullivan had no doubt tried hard to eradicate over their time was back. Some might say the 5-1 drubbing was the final nail in their coffin, for me it was the icing on the cake, the hard work had already been done, we have the advantage, we've moved forward from them after being dragged down to their level for a while and they floundered, in a big big way. No doubt their owners expected to survive this season and build from it like they did 6 years ago, without too much investment. They've failed, the fans know it and in true SHA fashion show their discontent in a manner they're accustomed too, lets wreck the joint. I feel no sympathy for them, they're a small time outfit playing in a big boys league and they're back where they belong. I sincerely hope they struggle to get out of the championship for years to come and continue to vent their anger at the owners who have publicly stated they don't want to own the club. They are an embarrasment to the game, a small time business run by small time owners with small minded fans. As I was reminded recently by one of them (before the game at VP) ..."I don't care if we go down as long as we beat the Villa", it's that attitude that is the underpinning of that club and the reason why they will always fail. Good riddance SHA. You are a **** joke.
  9. You mean the first stage of the whole place being bulldozed? Let's hope so
  10. Bring back the Kumars I say and Mark One as the sponsor!!
  11. And they were only 3 minutes away from getting that point back on Sunday 11th November 2007. Oh well SEE YA!
  12. They really are a **** embarrassment to football in general. The sooner Hong Kong Phooey takes over and takes them back to the fizzy pop the better the premiership will be.
