Yep, on the work chat, they said are saying they are owed loads because of all the poor decisions this season. I said like what, all said Spurs... any more i asked, their answer too many to list... Still waiting, and this guys is why I would rather City win the league, Liverpool fans the most entitled bunch of 🍆💦💦 going.

That game actually has a case for being replayed. It was literally the last passage of the game. Forest have a corner, it's cleared to a Forest player, game is stopped 5 seconds later with Forest in possession and the ball is given back to a Liverpool(?!) where they go up the other end and score, then the ref blows up after kick off.

These refs are either corrupt or not fit for purpose.

I am waiting with interest with what the PGMOL will say...

But because of Liverpool been on the end of the Spurs decision you know they will have to chose their words carefully otherwise we will have a triggered Klopp...

That Forest 'error' is crazy and borderline corruption if you look at the team involved and how much time was added on to try and get them the win.

I ref at my kids games and even I know that it is a dropped ball for the team in possession after a stoppage like that. How on earth did the ref think giving Liverpool the ball was the right thing to do?!

If it was the other way around Klopp would be crying for a replay now 🤣

  4. We all need to get it into our heads that programs like MOTD is not for the die hard fan, it's for the casual armchair fan. There could be a 10 goal thriller between West ham and Fulham. A 8 goal thriller between Everton and Wolves

Or there could be a 1-0 for Sheffield Utd vs Manure and a 3-0 win for Liverpool vs Newcastle and 2-1 win for Man City Vs Spurs.

The latter games will always go on 1st.

The 1st would be a huge Story. The 2nd and 3rd game are about the title race.

Most of the viewers of MOTD are scum 6 fans, so they will pander to that narrative.

Had many a heated discussion at work with Liverpool/Manure/Arsenal Fans. Their take on MoTD, who wants to watch S****y Villa, Wolves, Everton. They want to watch good players...

These days I tend to avoid talking about football at work as I like the job I do 🤣

  5. I do think the ref was influenced by the home crowd, every foul by us was met with huge roars from the crowd.

Luton players were doing similar things but nothing was given.

Some people could standard of officiating has dropped, but maybe they have always been awful, but now with so many games shown on TV its clear to see?

  6. To say this season we have only lost once from a winning position shows how far we have come. Only lost once and thar was  to Manure..

This was a similar performance, battered them 1st half 2nd half we were abysmal.

But made changes and got the winner.

But we really need to sort out our defending of set pieces, it's diabolical! Be interesting to know how many we have conceded this season! But it's a big weakness to have.

The ref was swayed by the home crowd, every foul was met with huge roars. This also didn't help out play with the stop start.

Play like we did in the 1st half vs Spurs Top 4 is ours. Play like we did in the 2nd half forgot it!

Where has this come from exactly? Why are people posting with such conviction that we are selling Ramsey?

Its hypothetical IF we have to sell someone - for FFP he would be the most viable - or would you rather we sell Watkins/Luiz/Martinez?

We might not need to sell anyone - but he would be the obvious choice

We keep the ones we think will make it and sell the ones we don't. Clubs choice and it's what every club does. City, Liverpool , United keep some of them and sell some

Maybe, but we may have no choice but to sell Ramsey to make pure profit for FFP.  You think that's fair?

this kind of shit shouldnt be a fan vote, makes it a pissing contest

hojlund will probably win for being less shit in january

    Top 3 will be

    Hojlund

    Saka

    Foden

It's 'Fans' voting. The African fans will vote in their droves for the Scum 6 players. The number of groups/pages i have to block on FB that come up on my feed Liverpool, Manure, City, Arsenal... All African based fan groups there are 10s of 1000s of them, so anything that requires votes from fans then forget it

A system where clubs are having to sell their best academy graduates to established clubs isn’t fit for purpose.

I am sure i saw Purslow on a video somewhere on this site and he said that!

It's wrong that to comply with FFP you have to see your academy graduates.

Superleague type deal will happen with teams like Barca and Real leading the charge.

This is what makes you laugh both clubs have huge debts but get away with it! Any super league wont have English clubs in it so they will invite the Saudis where FFP wont apply to them...

I think, when you go in to a game thinking you have to score 3 to have a chance, it can eventually be demoralising, and a time will come when it will give.

We can do it.....but it wears thin, after a while.

It's much harder to score, than to deny......so the time will come, when the question gets asked, why do we have to work so hard, when opponents just pop them in, with ease.

I know, we are WIP......so maybe we expect too much, for where we are.

The last 5 seasons the 4th placed team has conceded, respectively.......33-40-36-54-39....after 38 games, average 40.....sure it's only one set of criteria, but it's an important one.

We are currently on 35 after 26 games

We can all formulate reasons, but those are the facts, and they don't allow for mitigation.

This is it, when we were 3 nil up vs Forest and they came back to 3 - 2 it was like here we go again! The positive is we have only lost 3 points from a winning position this season (but even in that game we let Manure come back into the game, if we had carried on like the 1st half they wouldn't have laid a glove on us)

Thing about this tournament is final squad size has been reduced to 23 players. Last two have been 26 so Southgate can't get away with picking too many favourites this time otherwise they'll be a huge outcry in media.

Southgate doesn't care what the media has to say, he is a stubborn fool.

There games have been anything but tight, they've conceded 17 goals in last 5 league games.  I'll be disappointed if we don't score at least 3.

If we score 3 great. But this has banana skin written all over it (much like the Sheff Utd game during Xmas...

I'm looking at this game with caution. They should have got something vs Manure (yes they are crap but they have beaten us twice this season) so it shows that all it takes is a bit of luck!

I would expect us to win comfortably... like I did when Sheffield Utd came to town!

Another unintelligible ex-pro who spectacularly failed at management (not to mention his criminal conviction for assaulting his ex partner) so makes perfect sense for Sky to hire him.

surely there’s better ex-footballers out there?!?

You would think there would be plenty but seems to be the same old lot - Probably next villa game the expert analysis will come from Karen Carney and Trog Deeney...

I dont think we had a choice in that, I am sure it was the FA. Ironic part was if Klopp didnt consistently cry for a winter break we might have had space to rearrange it

Still moans about the fixtures now, playing in a final Sunday then playing in another cup game Wednesday 🤣 simple solution to that, get knocked out the cups you will only have 38 games to play....

  16. Think this game is going to be a tough one. Luton have got acclimatised to the premier league, had some good performances.

Think it will be a tight game, should nick it 2-1
