Has he?! I thought he was full of BS these days.
Well you’ll be able to see in the next 48 hours.

I like him but thought on a couple of occasions he didn't track back and left their right sided players with a couple of chances. Hopefully this is due to fitness which will resolve itself.

I hope we play our strongest team in cup games.
Especially for the League Cup as I recon we could win that.

If that’s what bringing in better players does, all for it. Good performance.

Good test the week before the opener. Heaton looks the business and the team stepped up another gear. One more required for next week.
-
He knows what he is doing, has a clear plan of how he wants the team to play, what type of players he wants in that team and has a decent support team with him. Yes it will be a learning experience but I think we will safely stay up, learn from the experience and improve again next year. Enjoy the ride.

SUBS: Kalinic, Hause, Bree, Guilbert, Engels, Targett, Lansbury, Jota, Green, Hogan
No Wesley.

Smith said he wanted 2 players for every postion. Will be a good fight to see who gets the DM role out of him and Douglas Luiz.
-
Looks very effective going forward, nice touch and knows how to slide tackle which is all good. One observation was his pace when turned which I hope will improve as he gets fitter.

I didn't change the scope.
You said it was a con that you could only buy one ticket per reference. I asked you why, you said because it creates 'privilege'. I replied saying that I would cap the number of claret memberships at 3,000, but to allow them to buy more than one ticket achieves the opposite of what you want, it allows even less fans who can't afford the start up fee of a season ticket or claret membership to go to games. Thus your idea = privilege.
At that point you got snarky so I replied in kind. I'm not belittling you, please don't gaslight.
If you’d bothered to read my original post you’d have seen that I don’t agree with the membership scheme at all. But instead you picked up on a response I replied to someone asking me a question taking it out of context to suit your own agenda. The con part of my response was about the membership not the one ticket per reference.
Im sure anyone who’s part responses are used out of context to try and make a point might feel aggrieved. As for gaslight, I’ve no idea what you’re talking about.

And your logic fell apart under scrutiny. No problem.
Get real on you point scoring. You asked a question I replied, you tried to change the scope, I declined, you feel the need to belittle. Sad

If you want to talk about how the entire economic system is a con I'm here for it, but I don't think the '1 member = 1 ticket' rule is emblematic of it.
I personally think they should have capped Claret Membership at 3,000 or something. But allowing those members to then buy more than one ticket only exasperates the issue.
Not particularly as you asked me about the Claret Membership to which I replied. Thanks

In what way is that a con?
To create a tiered system for those that can afford it for the privilege of trying to get a ticket at the expense of those that can’t afford it. We should all be able to buy tickets based on our attendance not because we can afford to join an elite at the expense of others.

How many tickets can you buy on one membership?
One per client reference so you need to register per person. Bit of a con.

I joined today to give my son, father and me a reasonable chance of getting tickets. In all the 42 years of following Villa I’ve never known anything like the current clamour for tickets.
