We aren't looking to sell any of our major players unless they demand to leave, you can take that to the bank, this is why out of all of them Ramsey leaving is actually probably the least likely, but we aren't looking to sell any of them.
Not sure why people are obssesed with such a negative subject as selling our best players anyway, we're currently having our best season in years, maybe decades, it could potentially be our best season since we won the European Cup, but threads like this you would think we were back in the days of Xia, we have to sell to buy, but that's not the same as having to sell our very best players
Whose obsessed?

Should go in the bin with ‘How long will Emery stay’ thread…
I love this!
Emery stays. We sell no players and we bring in even more incredible players to fuel the Champions League Winners push.
Your version of reality is so much more fun than mine.

If, as conjectured we need to sell a Crown Jewel in the summer.
If we get good bids, relative to the players value.
Who do you sell?

Spurs have to play them 3 as well in consecutive games starting the week after they play Newcastle away
Did not know this! Now feel slightly better. Keep em' coming Punkiller!

Our games against Liverpool, City and Arsenal still make me nervous.

I was at the game and surprisingly there were some away fans, about a row or two of them so I'd guess somewhere from 10-20 people.
Fair play to them it's a hell of a trip.
The internet, on occasion is a wonderful place! Thanks for the info buddy.

They have no away sections at the grounds here. So that should tell you enough about travelling support! Having said that, they're all family friendly places so there's no shouting profanity at a dodgy free kick decision. Worst you hear is "ref you suck"! I'm hoping to go to the Charlotte vs Toronto game here. See if I can shout "UTV" as I'll be near the touchline/benches.
Shit support my lord.

Ah yes. Epic fail.

Just bought my son and I a ticket for the game. £33.50 - Villa nailed it on this one. VP will be bouncing. His first European game too, (my last one was Ajax!)

Went to Vancouver and got a 1-1 in his second game in charge.
A 6,000 mile roundtrip. Wonder what the away following was like?

I'd rather the lawyers for the independent panel commissioned by the Premier League and the Premier League itself and lovers of fair play everywhere beat the lawyers of the Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and possibly his Tory handmaidens.
Yup. Us too.
Doesn't answer my question though.

Is there really any doubt they won’t? Hence the problem. Cheats.
Would you rather Spurs and United beat City to evidence cheaters don't prosper?

Would NSWE, Monchi, et al allow us to get into difficulty with this? It's such a dereliction of duty. They know the rules, it would be against everything they've done so far, (bar Gerrard), to allow serious FFP issues to occur.

This is truly disgusting.
It's Stoke all over again.
-
This is interesting...
Matt Law from The Telegraph believes it's advantage Spurs for 4th as they play less games.
Whereas our manager wants as many games as possible.
I think I'll side with Unai on this one.

On match days, we get the train over from Shrewsbury, (proper Shires, innit), have some beers and food in town, get Uber to the game for 1400, have a couple of pints, watch the game, walk back to the city and have more beers and food.
I would say it's a ratio of 80% spending outside of VP and 20% in it. Which is absolutely ridiculous when the whole premise of the day is to watch Villa. If they built a Villa box park, with Villa attractions, classic games on the TV and good beer / food options, we'd be there from 1130 through 1800. The club is losing SO MUCH MONEY from the terrible facilities and have done for decades.

There's a **** load of evidence that he loves getting hammered on a regular basis and the people who say there's no evidence are as stubbornly delusional as they think everyone else is
Also barely anyone has said he doesn't care or just wants the cash. He obviously loves playing football.
Regular basis throughout the season? Or just when he's on holiday, the season is over and he's not at work?

Based on what? He likes to go out. He also quite obviously keeps himself in very good shape.
Based on what?
I've been down this rabbit hole. There is never an answer. Or if there is, it's based on him having a beer when celebrating winning the Champions League.
Absolute nonsense, of course.

He could have got things right here.
All he needed was another preseason.
Shudder.
I backed him with a pre-season, but then I'm an eternal optimist.
And then that first game of the season with Ollie and Ty dropped? Speechless.
The worst manager and the worst character we've ever had in my lifetime as a Villa fan. (I'm 151 years old).

Actually think Chelsea are fairly decent now.
Fully expect them to finish in the top 7 - possibly 6th.
Top seven this season?

Battered us in the cup, where was that Chelsea!
That was more on us being below par than them being good, (in my opinion).

Chelsea are absolutely rubbish.
They are so far behind the best of the league, with how much they've spent, it's unreal.
