Why is that? Because I posted on a forum? Lol. Ridiculous response.

    Posting on a forum, nope.

"I hope he fails badly". Yep. This. If you don't care, you could perhaps direct your hope to something you do care about.

He was the definition of dog shit today. Yes, he may be a great player to come in the coming years but he is no where near Zaniolo or diaby’s level today

Leaving the most important word until the end. In other games, on other days, he's played well.

It's almost as if form fluctuates and players learning new systems take a little time to adjust.

Complete and utter liability today. Hopefully won’t start again for us this season or we are done for. I see the potential but the kid is too raw. Loan needed next season

"We are done for". Dramatic, much?

This may have already been discussed and is probably unpopular, but I'm thinking more and more recently that we should bite the bullet and buy a brown field close to the City Centre and build a new ground. Wouldn't have to worry about attendances while it was being built and the other issues of facilities, traffic and transport links are no longer an issue. Town already has fantastic infrastructure and facilities.

I love Villa Park, don't get me wrong, but getting in and out and watching every game is between 8-10 hours of my day. The area is a dog hole and I'm embarrassed for the experience we must give away fans. No wonder they all look down on us the way that they do. Arsenal and City did it. Everton are doing it. Loads of others have already done it too. I think we can be over sentimental about these things. Villa just don't feel linked to that area of Birmingham for me, they may have been back in the day, but it's plain to see how the area has changed around the ground and I doubt there are too many Villa fans living within walking distance.

Interested to hear what others think?

Away fans often state what a wonderful ground Villa Park is.

Makes it all the more infuriating that we capitulated so comprehensively to these chancers last week.

Still, if Fulham hold the line for another 20 minutes we will have 4th place back in our control.

    Do we?

Thinking out loud rather than having a strong conviction in this thought... Could he play deep midfield while no McGinn/Kamara? Play Konsa and Lenglet in Central Defence, Cash and Moreno (or Digne) and then Pau, Tielemans and Luiz with width supplied by Bailey and Diaby to (hopefully) Watkins.

Just feel his calm composure, passing and ability to slot in as a back five when needed, could really work. Or is it to defensive? Don't think Ramsey (injuries) Rogers or Iroegbunam (readiness) are going to help us in McGinn's absence.

    Sweet jesus no.

The best centre back we've had in decades and we're discussing moving him to a different position.

Classy player. Right up my street.

This. His movement is excellent and he can without doubt carry the ball / pick a pass.

Rough diamond of course, but, we could be looking back at him being an absolute bargain in three years.

The show in general is a total cringe fest tbh banter is funny when you aren’t constantly looking for it. Carragher came across as an even bigger tool after that comment.

The video is cringe beyond belief.

As Joey from Friends would say, "your so far over the line, the line is a dot to you!"

(Accused Kate Abdo of not being loyal to her fiance).

Finishing 6th now would feel like a kick in the balls.

But maybe that's our current level, maybe we punched above our weight the first half of the season and it's now balancing out.  99% of fans at the start of the season would have taken 6th and a Europa Conference run.

There's no doubt about this. We absolutely overachieved.

Seems that Knighthead are getting Karma for their Rooney appt. I think this is the year they do go down. They look so crap. The fans arent turning up.and Mowbray is a long way from returning

Maybe the sports quarter will be put on the backburner eh ?

    How do you know this?

I thought the third goal summed him up and I see a certain prominent podcaster agrees.

Well if a podcaster says it's so, it must be so.

Shouid never play for the club again. At the very least you shouid expect effort.

In the midst of an injury / suspension crisis that would test the People's Liberation Army, suspending a player for a perceived, (and false), lack of effort is certainly an interesting take.

I just don’t buy that we’re so injured that we can’t play the way we’ve played for 99% of the matches we’ve played under Unai. There are only two players we were missing in comparison to City and Arsenal and yet we play a completely different system.

At no point did we have control of the match. Maybe we could’ve knicked a goal from Ollie or Leon on the break but the same can be said for every other team in the league. This isn’t magic-ball we were supposed to play under Unai. Its control and structure of play.

    That was many months ago.

The players are mentally and physically ****. Exhausted. Days like today will happen.

  14. We have so many injuries. Three ACL's from players that would be bang on first teamers.

So, he chose a formation that fit in everyone else. It was catastrophic, but, there's not a huge amount else he could have done.

Buendia, Mings and Kamara out with ACL's is the equivalent to Arsenal losing Odegaard, Saliba and Rice. Where would they be without those three?
