  1. I don't think we can just keep playing the same way every game. United, Newcastle and Chelsea have all pinned their wingers as high and wide as possible, and had midfield underlaps which ave caused us a mass of problems, and we seemingly have no way of adjusting within the structure of how we play. It's compounded when it's our second string XI.

  2. Bit of a reach that someone could help with this, but I live in hope..

I was with Virgin Media, changed to Vodafone who messed about and delayed my installing by months, so went back to Virgin Media. Snce doing that I keep getting the below notification on many websites. The weirdest part, I also get this on my phone when NOT connected to my WiFi, which was not the case before the new Virgin router was sent to me.

    Any ideas?

EDIT: I get similar errors on multiple browsers on both laptop and phone.

VAR getting the right decision in the AFCON, but why it took them 5 minutes to decide to then refer it to the ref for what is a very distinctively objective decision, I'm not sure.

It was a foul, he was the last man, it was outside the box.  Red card,  no penalty, takes 10 seconds.

I think its because the ref didn't give a foul. When overturning a grey area decision like a foul, I believe the ref is always asked to go and look.

But I'm not sure why it took so long for them to instruct him to go and look at it.

  4. They just need to do what Newcastle and Chelsea did; pin their wide men high and wide at all times. Runners betweet our centre backs and full backs. It's so easy and simple to get in behind us.

    6. Wednesday

    7. Forest

    8. AC Milan

    9. Galatasaray

    10. Real Madrid

Forest v Derby was close, I don't have strong feelings either way. Arsenal and Spurs I dislike bothstrongly.

Newcastle have had a bad season , for me,  they are a far better team than Chelsea. Where's this sudden surge coming from they are going to weaken their squad not strengthen.

If anything last season was the outlier for Newcastle, rather than this one. They just didn't lose games and it wasn't sustainable. I think they are better than 9th, but they aren't a CL team.

Top 6! I can't see it unless they spend lots more money and if they don't get into Europe the ffp will start to bite. They need to sell to comply already so their going to weaken. Will Poch even stay?

For them to get top 6 who going to drop off? Can't see it being us, Spurs or Newcastle. You can then add Manure, Brighton, Wolves 😆 and West Ham to those in the queue. Chelsea are fucXed.

I mean they're only 2 points behind Newcastle now and 7 points behind top 6. I don't think the gap is quite as big as people imagine it to be.

I Was a huge NBA fan back in the day (the 90's) and then on and off since but I'm really struggling to get back into it. Main reason probably because Charlotte is a joke. The issues you raise are a bit part of it thou. Feels more like an entertainment product than an actual sport and neither the players or commentators seem to care much during regular season at least. Commentators are yapping about what they ate earlier or that the taxi from the airport was late or whatever. The players are laughing it up on the bench even if they are losing and the stars are sitting out large parts of the seasons instead of competing.

As a non American I find the broadcasts insufferable with all the bleeped rap music and the zooming in on fans dancing in the stands during breaks. Team loyal commentators also doesn't help although some are better than others. Charlotte actually are OK at this.

Of the 4 major sports over there, NBA is definitely the one that takes itself least serious.

Luca Doncic with a respectable 73 points against Atlanta. Joint 4th highest on the all time list. Been some big games this season, Embiid had 70 a while back and Townes had 62.

Not looked at the detailed stats for the games but Embiid in particular is shooting a ridiculous amount of free throws this season (again). He's the Harry Kane of the NBA , expert at drawing fouls, and the refs seem to be falling for his flailing and shouting every time.

I swear the way the game is officiated has changed over the last 10 years.

They give way more fouls than ever, allow travelling constantly. it's hard to actually watch the sport these dayys.

I'm definitely not ruling out either of West Ham or United catching us - there's a long way to go yet.

Yeah, I think United is almost must win, or at the very least must not lose. I don't see us holding 5 points over 14 games from them particularly when we're in Europe.

  11. I've no problem with a player going down 'easy' when they're kicked or tripped, to win a penalty. It's no more 'cheating' than the defender impeding a player, knowing that if they don't go down the ref won't give anything, and that some players are too honest for their own good.

Just another way refs are intent on destroying the game.
