    Gudjohnsen is pure class. I'd love to see him in a Villa shirt. Technically superb, we wouldn't better that signing this summer.

    No point us signing Giuly. He's an 'off the ball' player and needs quality around him to be effective. We don't have sufficient quality for him to succeed.

    Ronaldinho joined the club, but then he released where we were situated, so he joined Everton instead. Something about his Missus throwing away his dinner. Everybody thought Kaka was set to join, but he went to Schalke. Nesta had his heart set on a move to Villa, but after reading through Jez's posts, he was persuaded that Spurs were the better option.

    Hamburg were in a relegation battle for a time in a poor league. If these three are so brilliant, the 8 supporting them must be awful.

    Tricella, don't ever go on a quiz show. When you get the answer wrong, I don't think 'I'm positive that's the answer' will cut it. Just be honest, you have no proof that any player has rejected us.

    I think Koumas would be bought for the left wing, not central midfield. Hasn't got the work ethic or all round game for central midfield. He doesn't strike me as an O'Neill player, would be surprised if it happened.

    I'd say so. And I think Man City have had a terrible pre season so far and will go on to be in a relegation battle.

    General, what sort of knowledge of The Premiership did you have when you first come here? Did you know of all the clubs or just the likes of Manchester United? You have a good understanding of everything surrounding the game now or do you think you're still learning?

    I think Jeffers set records at that level, so I wouldn't write home about it.

    At this moment in time, Reo Coker is probably the worse of the three. But I'd also say he has the most potential, hence why Wenger was interested. But I also think he's an arsehole and has to change his attitude. I also hope he isn't going to do a Baros and see us a stepping stone to the big four.

    As if you're going to get real opinions on Reo Coker from West Ham fans. If we were buying Lampard, they wouldn't be able to put their personal opinions aside and admit he was good.

    Why is Koumas being compared to McCann/Gardner? He's not even trusted to play central midfield in the Championship, so there's no way he'll be playing central midfield in The Premiership. Koumas needs to be compared with people like Young and for me there's no contest, Young is streets ahead.

    I think we'd all have to seriously consider what direction we're moving in if Titus Bramble comes in. I thought we were supposed to be aiming for the champions league, not the championship??
