  1. General, yesterday I ordered 2 tickets for the Leicester Carling Cup game next week via the internet, and I've not yet recieved a confirmation email from the club. Is there any way to check my order has gone through? Cheers
  2. not really fair that our fans lose out on going to the game though. Thank you for attempting to work it out for us General, its appreciated.
  3. fantastic win for the Browns tonight General, some awesome performances on that field
  4. General, Sir; I have a request regarding the new website. Is there any chance we can have a better section for the Academy? The current area of the current site is a mess, and isnt anywhere detailed enough. Our Academy has done some fantastic work over the last 10 years or more and the current half-assed recognition they get on our website isnt fair (not the current boards fault I know). The match reports are basic, and the player profiles are non-existent bar a picture. Not a huge part of the site changes Im sure, but Id be delighted if there was a better Academy section and Im sure a lot of other fans would be too. I'll even volunteer to go to most home games and do match reports! UTV
  5. could have kept this in the main thread really. 3 btw
  6. I dont suppose you could disclose where MON went on holiday...? :winkold: some text deleted. please keep the thread to stuff for the Gen. Stewie, sorry. Thanks. Blandy
  7. Lets just adopt "Born In The USA" as our unofficial anthem 8)
  8. [quoteAston Villa boss Martin O'Neill could be set to make his first signing of the summer by signing up Nice goalkeeper Hugo Lloris. The 20-year-old stopper has impressed in his first season for Nice, making 37 appearances. O'Neill is not alone in his admiration from the goalkeeper with the likes of inter, Parma, Lazio, Monaco, Bordeaus and Lyon all interested in signing the player.
  9. Hello General, sir. I wondered if anyone from the new board had had any contact with the board at Birmingham - even just to say "hello, we're your new daddy's" or something similar The previous board/chairman seemed to have a decent relationship with their board, and I wondered if Lord Randy intended to be nice to our retarded cousins - especially as their board have done nothing but make cheap comments about our club since you took over. UTV
  10. van der Vaart apparently has a €1.5m release fee NEXT summer as long as he isnt either sold or doesnt sign a new contract in the meantime
  11. Camoranesi wants to leave Juve apparently. Cheeky bid?
  12. Maybe Mellberg is being seen as the answer to our RB problems? Let's hope not, he's no more than a stop-gap playing there, Its okay when we have injuries, but long term he isnt a good enough right back.
  13. Harewood hasnt been released, he's been transfer listed, so we'd have to pay money for him. No thanks.
  14. Nakamura would be a poor signing in respect of the midfield we appear to be trying to build. We've got young, hungry, dynamic grafters in there, with Reo-Coker hopefully to be added soon. Not sure KnackeredMotor fits into any of those categories - he's a luxury player imo.
  15. It was, but not to the ludicrous levels West Ham will take it to. Leeds United Mk 2 with a bit of luck
  16. so much better than "my dads mates sisters boyfriends aunts cousins dogs owner saw him at the ground last week"
  17. What were the findings? Both have nothing more than "Reo-Coker not sure on future"
  18. I wasnt sure initially whether it was a mis-spelling of SSN or ESPN, but I've checked both
  19. Id take Reo-Coker over Barton. Barton's a fantastic player and, although Im sure he could sort him, out MON is a manager not a social worker. There's always going to be a chance that Barton could do something twattish. Reo-Coker's problem with West Ham was that he was shunted out of the team to make way for Mascherano, not because they were struggling. £8m is probably a little over the odds, but you have to do that these days. As Jas said above, he's the energy player we've needed since we lost Boateng.
  20. lovely. Looks like MON remembered to take his mobile on holiday with him...
