  1. I love Konsa but he offers next to nothing at right back. The opposition know they can just focus on Diaby/Bailey. Looking forward to Cash being back to full fitness.

Edit: speaking in terms of his offensive contribution, although both Brentford and now Arsenal are looking to exploit his side of the pitch.

We are all frustrated by the goal but a vocal minority love to just spread the hyperbole - I really don’t get it

Well done - you're just such a Unai fanboy that you don't see we're going to get relegated now and the club's going bust.

Surprised Luiz isnt getting more stick for their goal

Let his man go, Diego should do better but at least he does something which is more than Luiz

Dougie is a great player but he's been poor (by his standards) for a few weeks now imo.

Pretty poor first half of the first half, got better towards the end. Moreno has been woeful, would get Digne on but maybe around 55/60 mins I

Ideally 59 please as my main FPL league competitor has him.

  5. I think both he and Rogers still look like they need a bit more time on the ball than they're typically allowed,  which leads to some poor decision making and at times ill discipline. For me it's therfore understandable that Rogers gets more starts though as he's younger and our player - even more so if we activate a compulsory purchase on Zaniolo after so many starts as reported, as I think we can do better.

That's not to say I wasn't delighted with his goal today, but I'm surprised at him getting so many MOTM votes in the post-match thread; I thought Diaby looked better personally from the subs.

    Stop arguing with yourself.

They are playing poorly, there's no real excuses, they are paid and trained to play football. McGinn is a huge loss, but I'm not having the fatigue boll***s.

If you are right, we may aswell concede the season.

Yes I'm making excuses for these lazy words removed who are in fourth place, outperforming expectations and pushing for both CL qualification and European success.

    Have a word with yourself.

That turned into a pretty tough watch, though we should probably have had a penalty, don't get why he's allowed to wave his hand around there to block the cross.

I thought that at first but in the replay it looks like Bailey kicked the ball on to his hand and was looking for it - not sure though.

    So what is it Unai?

So teams never have a lazy game?

    Mainly fatigue.

    Nervousness.

    Youth and inexperience.

    Pressure.

    Getting used to tactical changes.

Any combination of these things and more.

But of course, if you have fewer than ten brain cells, the easiest conclusion to draw is that these professional footballers who are pushed by a world class coach and on the verge of qualifying for a major competition that would take their careers to the next step are choosing to be lazy at this point of the season.
