  1. 28, but with the knowledge of a 29 year old
  2. Pietersen out, but 26 runs to go... That adverts amazing -I was sure it was a pisstake when I first saw it!!!
  3. 57-3 Warne with all 3 Getting nervous - come on England..... 72 runs to get....
  4. Hoggard's just got Gilchrist! That should calm you down DDID
  5. Hoggard has just taken Clarke's wicket. Need to get Gilchrist out now and we're nearly there... Aussies 270-5 at lunch
  6. I've gone for England, even though I've got a bad feeling about this one. This made me laugh on the bbc site:
  7. And he's so hard he punched his fist through a fish tank 8)
  8. Although I agree with this: I still think prefer Southgate - he was class and even though he's I reckon CBs should be dull, dependable and not prone to falling on his arse every few matches (unlike Olly...)
  9. It's God and Southgate by a mile. I've got a soft spot for Teale though, and always remember George Gavin's comment on Radio WM after the Villa - Man U final - "He kicked everything that moved, and if it didn't move he kicked it till it did." :)
  10. He's a clearing in the woods, but it's Bosnich. I feel like a chorus of the Ossie Bossie for old times sake....
  11. Time for an 2 Unlimited impression: NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO
  12. Oasis ripped off a song called "How Sweet is it to be an idiot" for Whatever too. I think that's why it wasn't on any album. Also, the chorus for Blur's MOR was stolen wholesale from Bowie's Boys Keep Swinging.
  13. Although I much prefer Blur, I don't see how Noel admitting that he's influenced by the Kinks shows that they're crap. Surely every band goes through stages of being influenced by different bands. For example, Blur were influenced by the Kinks during Parklife/The Great Escape, by Pavement during the Blur album and by African music on Thinktank. If you listen to the last three Blur albums there's barely any Kink-esque stuff on there. Anyway, none of this excuses Oasis from being unable to write a decent tune since Morning Glory (and come on, admit it, that includes the new album!)
  14. That's a post just gagging to be asked what the best album of the 90s is! What is it then?
  15. It's like 1995 all over again. If I close my eyes I can visualise (extra points for using Pulp lyrics) the cover of NME featuring Liam and Damon in a boxing ring - it's enough to bring a tear to my eye. Anyway, Blur by a country mile.
  16. 10/10 for Davis - he cannot be stopped
  17. It's got to be Davies. Laursen would probably win by a mile if he'd played a few more matches though - he is class.
  18. It's got to be Nobby. Extremely average bordering on the very poor last season, our best player this season. If UDLC had kept up his early season form, then he'd be in with a shout though.
  19. I'm going for Crouch, mainly so I can wheel out this picture again
