  1. Screw what the media will think, they have no passion, no loyalty, no desire for our club, we are the important people here, players, managers and owners come and go, Aston Villa and the fans are the only constant in the ever changing world of football.

Protest, Chant, unfurl banners, don't go to the games, don't buy the merchandise,

but don't stand by making excuses as to why we shouldn't have a go at getting this disaster of a manager out of the football club before he can do any more damage, Villa fans of the world unite and let everyone know we don't like where this clown is taking us.

  2. Villa are the biggest club in a 200 mile radius (almost 200).

Wut? You do realise Old Trafford is only 80 miles away, surely?

does the 200 miles include north west France as well as eastern Ireland.

I think you may have one zero too many in your estimate.

  3. To my fellow villans on the site, stop feeling sorry for yourself "everyone dislikes us", "people dont care about us".

The reason why we have not been mentioned in the whole relegation thing is that before ethis weekend there was a nice big gap. Now that gap is gone, and we will be noticed.

The gap is gone? Last night it was 5 points with 7 games to go. Let's see where we are after the 2 Easter games.

probably 2 points with 5 games to go.

    That's the spirit!

    thank you :)

  4. Anyone feel we can go and win there next week

don't be daft, everyone knows that if they are on a bad run as a team or individual, about to break the shittiest run in their clubs history, galloping across the horizon to spare their blushes will be a team decked out in claret and blue and their bad run will be over.

    Torres anyone?

  6. Meh! This win hasn't changed my opinion of him. The result returns a much needed three points, but we were 30 seconds away from equalling our worst run of results at VP in 90 odd years.

The crowd were ready to snap near full time, but the goal released that pent up anger as pure relief. He's dodged a bullet this time.

lets face it he could win the league and it wouldnt change some people's opinions of him

i was hoping that mcleish actually getting things right for once would stop the moaning for 10 days at least...guess i was wrong!

one win does not a good season make!

  7. I note the Generals very first post was a load of old bollocks then

I am on this Site because, like Randy, I truly care about what fans say and feel. We want to do right...we are not interested in screwing it up.

99% of the Generals posts where bullshit tbh. Propaganda at its finest.

    We were his Vietnam!

Yeah, we beat him as well :)

and now he has been outed how do all the posters who asskissed and pandered to him on his thread feel?

  9. I agree tyklip. Unless the board deliberately wanted to upset the fans, reduce attendances and have the team in a relegation battle (and I'm pretty sure they wanted none of those things) there is absolutely no explanation as to why they would want him.

Good at working on a budget? Nope

    Good at motivating? Nope

    Good football? Nope

    Attacking football? Nope

    Good tactician? Nope

    Good at getting results? Nope

    Popular with the fans? Nope

    Cheap? Nope

    Yes man? Yes

    Now makes sense.

    edited for you :)

  10. this predicament we find ourselves in was always going to happen as soon as AM was announced as manager. The sad thing is that it was all avoidable, the manager is a disaster and he always was even before he soiled the Villa with his presence. The person to blame is the owner, he set the conditions for the new manager to work under therefore making the job unpalatable for any decent ones out there leaving him the choice of shit or w ank managers. How he chose AM though is beyond me.
