  1. McLaren is a genius, he has to be, i mean how else can someone with so little talent and knowledge get the jobs he got and make the money he made. He should write a book, "how to make millions while being a complete ****"

  2. for the second game in a row I found myself shouting "give it to Ireland, give it to foookin Ireland" as he made run after run into threatening areas only to be ignored and the ball to be sent sideways or backwards or anywhere else apart from where it should have gone which was into the area that Ireland had run into. No wonder he looked frustrated, I was frustrated for him as well

  3. Instead of automatically seeking to snipe, some VTers might do better to take a more considered view.

    Oi Dickhead

This is a Villa forum so remember where you are, we can snipe at your bag of shite all we like, further, "Glastonspur take a condecending attitude to "sniping" and recommends a considered view".

In all your time on here you've never taken any other view than

    a) Spurs are better than everyone else in the world (copyright Glstonspur ad infinitum)

    B) Any bullshit statistics you quote are on a par with the tablets Moses brought down from the mountain.

My considered view is that as your season decends into mediocrity (yet again) you'll vanish as usual only to reappear when you've had 1 decent result

My hope is the decent result doesn't appear and you'll vanish off here forever.

Bravo Sir, I couldn't have put it better myself. I support your campaign to rid VT of this anus.

  4. General

in the 60's the yanks thought they could be a force for good, went in all guns blazing and for a few years things looked good, then something changed and they had to scale back on their approach to the new problems put in their way, eventually they left with little more than a whimper leaving behind a wreck. my question is, do you see any similarities with your involvment with Villa and 'Nam?

  5. Nike-Colette-The-Away-Project-7-500x500.jpg

wanted to buy the france away shirt. current RRP 120 euros. no ta.

Just bought it on eBay for under £20. Coming from Malaysia so fingers crossed it'll be real etc, but that shirt is with £20 for the comedy value alone.

put this on with a pair of 3/4 length trousers and a bandanna and you would instantly become a Pirate, Aaaaaarrrrrrrrr me hearties.

  6. It's not my fault you're stupid. In the 09/10 season we had no sponsor, during the end of that season we get a ceo to drive to get revenue in the following summer. Randy says sell to buy, wage bill too high in relation to revenue. Why on earth did we spend two seasons without a sponsor if we needed money? Why only in the summer of 2010 did we get a ceo and go try get a huge income stream like a shirt sponsor?

What was happening up until then, years of no ceo, years of no sponsor. Randy let the club get like that and only write up to the reality I'm the 09/10 season.

There is no need for the abuse is there, calm yourself.

I dont understand why your ignoring my question about how things in the past make us a poorly run club now?

But i suppose there is a reason why you ignore questions and twist everything else.

Anyway this thread is not about Randy or how things are run its how Villa fans overreact to a little tommy squeaker never mind a manager appointment.

Since randy took over he has poorly managed the club until he realised this in the 09/10 season resulting in the breakdown of relations with O' Neill. He'd he erin the club properly and increased our income by tapping the stands all other clubs did we would probably still have o'neill. The current mess is the result of Randy's mistakes in his first years here.

That is what I've said repeatedly, you just fail to understand simple English. Randy mismanaged and now we are still in that mess as he tries to fix it.

Yes, he made mistakes as an owner, considering it's the first time in football, like anyone, a player or a coach ....you make mistakes. Same with the owners, you learn from those mistakes and that's what he's doing and now rectifying. Although the view O'Neill would still be here etc...is just sheer speculation.

We've finished 11th, 6th, 6th, 6th, 9th under Randy.....I'd say overall, he's done a fine job for this club, it's a shame you don't feel that you can give a board time to work things out, a board who have put a £100 million+ into the club but that's not good enough for us ...

Well I just think the big mistake was letting the club get to the level it was financially at the end of the 09/10 season. We get a 12mil per year sponsorship that summer with fx pro, revenue we clearly needed the previous too seasons. This mismanagement led in my view to the departure of O'neill which has resulted in us being here now with a near certain pure managerial appointment.

If Randy had run the club properly from the start, had gone out and got the best football ceo he could and tapped every revenue stream we would not be here now. The blame for our relegation battle season is his.

That is my opinion and it has a very solid reasoning for it. Nothing off the cuff or random about it, I've detailed it many times before. I'd prefer a properly run club to this one.

good job you can type these comments, cos the way you seem to be noshing on MONs bits we wouldn't be able to understand you it you tried to say them with your mouth full. work the shaft, caress the balls

  7. Who do I want? Martin O'Neill.

I know some fans will be against it, but something pretty major obviously happened between him and Lerner which led to him walking out.

I think if he came back and had a good start to the season, all the fans would soon forgive him.

However, I don't think we will get him, I can't see it being McClaren or Benitez either.

I think Ancelotti is worth a bet, could have easily been misquoted the other day when he said he was taking time out of football.

If I had to put all my money on someone, I think it would be Ancelotti at the moment.

Nope would never forgive MON for walking out 5 days before the season. He thinks he is bigger that the club.

Don't be silly mate, you know you would forgive him. What if he got us Champions League and won a trophy? lol.

He is without a doubt the best manager who is available at the moment in my eyes.

I want the best for my club.

    So I want Martin O'Neill.

If you wan the best for your club, then MON is not it, do you not understand the reasons why Villa were crap this season, would you want him to come back and finish off this club and turn it into another Leeds/ Pompey. he **** it all up to giant proportions and when he was told to sort his shit out he did a runner, if thats the kind of person you would like in charge of this club then you are a silly billy.

  8. unfortunately, nothing will stop them now, the only thing holding them back was qualification to the chump league, now they are there they can offer the same as manu, chelsea, arse, barca, and the rest of them, only they will pay 2x or more to get the players to go there, and we all know that players only loyalty is to money, tis just another reason why we as Villa will never win the league, or anything else for that matter, i fooking hate Mancity.

  9. My girlfriend has just split up with me after 2 weeks of being 'official'. We've seeing eachother for ages after she says she had commitment issues. Then she seemed happy enough and asked me, I gave her space and time and she just did it completely out the blue tonight.

    Weird.

reading between the lines, shes getting banged all ways by another fella.

  10. I'm sure HMRC form their opinion of him through messageboard rumours, don't they?

What has this got to do with anything?

HMRC have charged him with tax evasion (over a trivial amount compared to his annual income I might add, which begs the question: why would he bother?).

Has he been found guilty yet? No.

And even if he is found guilty, tax evasion is not the same as corruption. Corruption is the illegal receipt of money (or the equivalent) in return for favours granted that are usually against the best interests and/or rules of the organisation or business which employs you.

Has he ever been found guily of corruption? No. Has he ever even been charged with corruption? No.

Levy is amongst the shrewdest of club chairmen, and Spurs are certainly amongst the best run clubs in both the Prem and in Europe. So it's very unlikely that he would have appointed Redknapp if he thought that he was corrupt.

The trouble with some VTers is that they accept rumour as fact when it suits their prejudices.

YAWN!!!!!!!!!! GTF you boring word removed
