  1. What if he finishes higher in his first season than MON? Niether had much of a preseason and both want/ed to stamp there own style of play on the team. Houllier is probably not use to so many kick-and-rush cloggers in a squad.

    where did we finish 12th?

    11th

No one else? you not visit any other gaming websites? Does everyone that plays this game post in the thread on this site only? Just because i'm the only person to have mentioned it in this thread, doesnt mean others are not having the same problem.

Too right it's slow in comparison to COD4/MW2, those two put it to shame in terms of connection, the games a mess. As i said, virtually every other game, the host leaves, the game tries to migrate to another player, and in most cases, it fails, so the games bombs out. Still get that connection error message appearing at the end of games aswell.

Have a look about the net, believe me, i'm not the only one suffering with these problems.

And to think them greedy words removed at Activision are thinking of making people that want to play online pay for a subscription, they want to fix the **** game first.

You're certainly not the only one and it seems to have affected PS3 players more too. Instead of continuously patching the 74u, I wish they'd finally do something to sort out the connection problems, I'm fed up of failed host migrations etc.

  3. ... and that definatly is "in your opinion" bicks.

I would say he had a great game against Man Utd, a great first half against Fulham but an average second half (he was still our best player on the pitch), a good first half against Blackpool, and an average debut against Wigan.

Other than his red card and a few dodgy positioning moments, I think he's clearly been one of our top 3 players in every game he's played for us so far.

I didn't see the Fulham game as I was at work, but I remember at half time, whoever was doing the minute by minute on the sky sports app said that Makoun was being overshadowed by Sidwell. As I say, I've got no idea though.

In the games I have seen him in, it looks like he'll be a lot stronger when he plays against teams who'll give him time on the ball and on bigger pitches. If he's got time and space he looks like he can really spray the ball around, but looks less convincing when he's getting pressurised by the other team.

  4. It's my favourite. Liquified marzipan. Yum
I don't get this. I LOVE marzipan, but I hate Dr Pepper - and I don't think it tastes anything like marzipan. In fact I was surprised to see somebody hated it but loved cherry Coke; they seem very similar to me - that artificial chemical cherry taste (which is nothing like real cherries). Red Bull is in the same nasty ballpark. I'm sure when I was a kid I was given medicine that tasted exactly like it. Horrible.

There's definitely an almond taste to it, hence why 'Dr Pepper' style cocktails always use Amaretto as a base.

I quite like Dr Pepper but it's got a weird after taste. I seriously love Cherry Coke, maybe it's a reminder of when I was young, but I can't get enough of the stuff, even if deep down I know it's sugary crap.

  5. Seems I really don't have a clue regarding the transfers we make. Was delighted with Ireland. Was delighted with Sidwell. Thought we overpaid when we got Downing. Thought we overpaid when we got Milner. Thought we overpaid when we got Young.

I will not have any opinions about our transfers from now on.

No, keep having opinions. It just means we can take the opposite view to you and we can be certain we'll be correct :winkold:

  6. Cracker, he hasn't played in 20 days. Also what i mean't about Wigan was the actual place to make a debut, if you look at Bent against Man City, he was buzzing because of the way VP was, the new found optimism. You go to Wigan and its depressing, nothing to lift you. I'd like see him at VP this Saturday.

Nothing to lift you? Apart from a large and vocal away support on your debut you mean?

  7. Yep so easy is it to got to their ground that in the 10 matches played at the DW before last night they had lost once - dead easy. The pitch was far from ok.

Their home record this season: W2 D6 L5 (4 before last night), hardly daunting. It must have felt like a home game last night in terms of support. As I said in the reactions thread I thought he did ok, nothing more, but showed promise, but at this point that's pretty much all I was expecting.
