  1. Own a pair of Umbros for 5 a side, nothing special.

    Nike pair for general running/tennis/squash/whatever.

    Pair of Kangaroos for hockey.

Other than that I don't wear trainers as such. Own a very nice pair of Merrell shoes (or is it Merrill, not sure), so comfortable, brilliant shoes, pair of sketchers, same as the Merrills comfort wise and got a knackered old pair of Converse which are quite nice but would only wear them to be scruffy or with shorts as none of my others really go with shorts and I wear shorts a lot in summer.

Don't buy into the whole trainer snobbery thing really, but having said that if I had the money some classic adidas trainers would probably be added to the collection.

  2. Stay because he is doing the best he can under th circumstances. We ould have Mourinho in charge but with Ellis pulling the strings we would not be any better.

What, the same Mourinho who with the best squad in the prem lost 3-0 to a team we beat 4-0 the week before? He's rubbish him, never rated him :D

  3. Paddys new taxsponging housemates tell the local newpaper of his arrival to University

    Very good Trim :D

However I have long hair now so look less and less like him and more like one of the Monkees apparently, not intentionally. I'd expect on his return from injury Owen to have hair much like mine though, he shaved it for the first time about 2 weeks after I did.

  4. I've promised I'll boycott, and I didn't go to any games over Christmas because of it other than Manyoo which I already had tickets for. Made the decision after the Doncaster game, couldn't stand paying for that any longer, over £100 including travel to see us play 4 lose 4 concede 10 and score 1 just isn't worth it. I can't stick with it though, I'm sure I'll end up at the WBA and SHA games over Easter whether there's a takeover or not. My issue isn't really with Ellis although it goes back to that, just the lack of passion shown by the team.

As I'll be in Liverpool the weekend of the Everton game I'll struggle not to go to that one.

  5. Come on, a poll like this after a very good run of games. Everyone knows after the Doncaster performance I thought that was the end, if he hadn't turned it round over Christmas we'd have been completely stuffed, but luckily he did.

I did want him gone, but I also said there's no point until the takeover is decided one way or another. So I thought he should stay, which he did. Things have changed though since the Doncaster game, we almost needed that. DOL has started to look like he cares, stopped making excuses and the team actually look like they want to play for him.
